Things can turn around quickly, the spine is the hardest thing to build and we seem to have it sorted, quick classy players should be dime a dozen..
Fingers crossed we start actually trying to draft a few.

The spine is sorted for the time being. But for how long? Going into 2021 we have:

Tarrant 31 going on 32
Walker a 28yo journeyman
Daw 30 and has to get back to his late 2018 form
McKay 23 shown a bit recently but jury still out
Larkey 22 looks like a long term lock
Brown 28
Comben 19 looks promising but hasn't strung a full season together since he was about 12

In 3 years, the only guarantee (as much as you can have guarantees in footy) to be there is Larkey.

We should be certainly looking at a kpd this draft and then look to 'top up' with 1-2 journeymen kp players over the next couple of years.

On top of that of course we will be needing a ruckman in 2 years time.

It's 17th v 18th being played in a neutral venue - the AFL just said we can play as many or as few players as we want as no one will take any notice - no teams need to be announced....

Polec hasn't been that great in recent weeks and disposal going into the F50 has been putrid. Surprised that they had the b***s to drop him given all our injuries.

Think Brown is more rested than dropped given everything that's happened to him this week off the field but the break might be good for him to just freshen up.
