Unfortunately there will be heaps of WC supporters turning out and im sure they will be cheering for GC😳
No issues with that. Regardless of the result, if those dockers hating eagles fans wanna do that, then that's fine by me. Let them pay their $50 or $60 for their tickets. More cash for the dockers

It was hard enough for members to get tickets so not expecting that many tossers from down the road - most will already be in Bali

Frustratingly the westher forecast is getting pretty crap for next weekend. The wet winter continues into spring...
Rain is good, the frustrating thing is that there is 1 rainy day in the next 8 days and yeah, we know how this story goes....

I don't mind it tbh, we smacked them in similar conditions earlier in the year and the crowd shouldn't be affected too much. It also means Fyfe's selection will be more justifiable (considering how contentious it's become on here) and it'll bring Darcy more into the game too.

Possible Ins O’Driscoll, Johnson, Walker
Possible Outs Fyfe, Wags

Glad I don’t make the call.
Wags is a def out. Switta is the possible out. I doubt we’d make any unforced changes, and as someone else said Fyfe’s big body and experience is important.

Johnson first in. Then NOD if needed.

That’s my guess.

And some of them will rock up in their Eagle colours like they did for the Brisbane game.

Absolute idiots.

If we get through the AFL are going to stick us with a short break for week 2 aren't they...

We're on the tougher side of the draw in terms of opponent, if we win I'd rather play Crows or Pies than Cats or Brisbane.

But we're on the fairer side in terms of breaks. The winner of our game will get a 7 day break against a team with an 8 day break but on the other side Crows or Pies will get an 8 day break against a team on a 6 day break which makes it tough for the Hawks or Giants.

Playing Brissie at the garbage the following week will be as hard as anything

Geelong at the G no easier

Of all the fan bases, we are absolutely the last that should be getting ahead of ourselves and projecting future match ups.
Madness!

Beat them in the wet and nullified their ball movement. King didn’t do as he wanted to.
Wet actually helps Fremantle given the unpredictability of ball movement.

Just wrecks us for the following week against big bodies and if we somehow make it through there we are against a side who've had their feet up for a weekend at home and we are carrying a wet week of bruises, maybe another week of them to follow.

That is some impressive getting ahead of yourself, forecasting not just to semi final week but prelim week.

We've just had a week off, playing a wet game isn’t going to wreck us for future games. It didn’t during mid-season.

I think I covered it with "if we somehow make it".

Rainy games blew us up in 2015. They get everyone eventually.

We do have a benefit for our younger guys with the week off, against the hardened fitness of the mature sides so their natural advantage of sustained stacked games is diminished but if we play in rain we will carry more fatigue beyond.

GC has some pretty big bodied players. I am wondering if that was why they opted to drop Dudley for our last encounter with them.
Matt Johnson had a pretty good game for a fair bit of the Freo-GC encounter earlier this year. I'd probably rather him than, say, NOD who had a good game with Peel but hasn't shone so brightly at AFL level this year.

Gee, being underdogs favour Fremantle more given like to play with freedom. Gold Coast will definitely feed off that next week.

Hopefully the team handles it better after the Brisbane diabolical effort. Were stunned and daunted from the expectation.
