This notion of "our season is shot, so let's play the kids" is complete BS. If they don't have the skills or nous to have earned a spot, then they shouldn't be handed one on a platter. This shows a complete lack of respect for the players that have bled blue and white over a number of years. Would also mean we just get belted each week.

This has already been happening for 2 years, where've you been?

Most spots in the team have been based on what players might do rather than what they have done. Ever check how many VFL games Jack Ziebell has played?

Hint: Daniel Wells has played more.

Tarrant has ordinary form in vfl Do people relise the step up from vfl to afl is Massive and to think tarrant or pederson are going to come in and play well when their performances when up caused them to be dropped . I know hansen is not playing well but I think Bon see's him as the best available .

you obvously don't watch any vfl. Tarrant and pedersen have been amazing at VFL level and both have been BOG for a game since returning to vfl level

When Basti comes back I would like to see Macmillan off the half back flank, and Basti off the wing. That would provide a bit more class coming out of defence.

seriously have u seen any werribee games this year these two players would be a major reason for part of werribees resurgence u are kidding yourself saying tarrants vfl form has been ordinary get down and watch werribee sometime then i think u might have to eat some humble pie

I'd also like to see Richardson or Urq come in to change the mix of the back half so that has to be for either Pratt or Mcmahon.

It is probably the one glaring area that we haven't really even tried to address this season other than starting Richardson. We need at least one quick mover out of defence and neither Urqs or Speight have been used in a HB role to see what they might offer. Pratt won't be here next year and Mc Mahon is limited so with our current position we should be trying some new players. Even the Pies tried Davis after winning the title.

Lower has been out for 9 weeks so can come back at any stage if we wanna take a rookie off the list. Think hes a fair while off but you never know.
Grima- its been 2 weeks since he broke his thumb. Considering Pratts gone for a month il expect Narni to miss 2 more.
Wright- has missed 2 games already, anyone know how bad his shoulder is.
McKinley- hasnt been playing VFL so im not too sure if his groin or hips sore or whats going on with him.
Bastinac- Will be back in 2 weeks i reckon. They might ease him in against the GC not too sure.
Campbell- been a month since his hammy went again so hell probably line up for Nth Ballarat but i reckon we should bring him straight in as a sub.

Richardson had a huge game for NB two weeks ago. Ready for a recall. Probaby close last week.

Tarrant's had a consistent month at VFL level. Crows will most likely play two proper talls, Tippet and McKernan, so perfect week for him to come back in.

Urqs needs to string togther a few full games before I'd consider him. Seems to have missed a bit of footy

Harper's probably ready after a week off and Cruize is always around the mark.

Obviously Pratty and Spud out. LA was putrid last week, but is better than that. I'll give him another chance. Cunners struggled and I'd be tempted to replace him with Garlett.

Anthony needs to dominate this week or else hes due for another stint.
Under pressure and should be made aware of it this week are Rawlings, Hansen, McMahon, Anthony, Pederson if he doesnt show enough and Thomas to keep their spots and they are all due for big games. Why?
We have Firrito, Grima, Wright, Campbell, Bastinac and Harper all looking for a recall in round 12. Everyone will want to play in Boomers record breaker aswell as dominate against the Suns. Those 6 players waiting for a recall are all capable and IMO are best 22 so injurys are no longer an excuse. There is no reason why we shouldnt start winning again. FFS maybe we can record back to back wins for a start.
