If we lose Cox out of the 50m will we will stuffed when it comes to creating a contest and having someone big to kick to. He needs to be there to help Moore unless you want Moore to have the biggest backmen hanging off him? Moore is struggling as it is without losing the help of a big man up there. No way Cox gets dropped.

Keep Mayne he was decent last night kicked 1 more goal and it would have been considered a good game.

I feel after last night he might surprise us this year.

maybe the issue is having a 7FT KPF and our mids think they can bomb it to him.

maybe going smaller changes the mindset. I also like Darcy on his bike more.

Moore is a 20 year old footballer with a huge upside. Cox is a wanna-be footballer, who can't mark, can't chase, and is a liability when Collingwood don't have the ball. Last night when Cox was in the ruck he was the best tap ruckman (against the poorest ruck combo in the comp) but what else did he do? In modern day football, where attacks begin deep in defence, you can't carry a 210 cm lumbering forward with no defensive attributes, especially when our future key forward is also struggling.

So what do Collingwood do? Drop a project player or drop a future star and potentially the best key position player on our list?

Also what is going on with Wells club is quiet on him, is it calf? how long off do they expect him to be? Mid year? soon ? Surely its not hard to update us on how hes travelling.

Elliott is apparently less likely to play. I don't expect to see Wells for at least three more weeks, maybe more. We need to get Aish and Broomhead into the side.

Cannot believe the Blair play no more thread was closed with the words 'way too early to be talking about ..'. Way too early why? We know he's shit and we know he is always going to be shit. What is premature about declaring now that he should be dismissed from the seniors never to play again? Are we going to be referring to him in eulogies in 6 weeks time, forever thankful we kept him in the side and closing threads demanding him gone. I doubt it!

Good changes. I agree that Crisp had a very ordinary game. One of Mayne or Blair will keep their spot loki; I predict/hope it's Mayne. If Elliot is fit it changes the look of our side.

I havent seen it but Reid isn't that kind of player (see Adams). if something happened it would've been accidental.

He was behind the player, as they landed from a marking contest, and there is no reasonable basis to be able to say eye gouging was deliberate as he couldn't have seen where his hands contacted the player.
