Outs: Nelson Schofield
Ins: Cole Hutchings

Fast deck and smaller dogs forward line means we don’t need a third tall. Keep duggan at half back and bring in an extra midfielder in hutchings.

Masten keeps his wing/HFF until one of ah chee or rioli is back

-Nelson, Schofield, Masten

+Cole (If hes mentally fit), Watson (Nelson sucks), Hutchings (Masten makes going out with 21 players look good)

This lets Sheppard play D3 which is where he dominates

I think we all agree Nelson out. Masten wasn't that bad, if Venables had done as much you'd all be peeing your pants, I'd say he gets another week unless Ah Chee is fit. Schofields spot will depend on matchups, so probably only one or two changes.
Vardy offers more than Lycett but that may be a few weeks away.

Masten out plz,

Schofield was ok-doesn't deserve to go, hasn't done anything to cement himself either.

Venables & Waterman in the gun, unlucky our whole fwd line debuts at the same time. I assume we will see McInnes before long
Id like to see Nelson get a good run at things plus I thought he did alright as a lockdown player.

Ah Chee injured his ankle badly predicted to return at round 6 apparently.

Very confident Hutchings would’ve done better. Some things never change with Masten, he’s still lightly framed and weak in the contest. And zero tackles is terrible.

Had half the contested possessions of Zak Jones his opponent. Bruise free footy.

If we want to go forward we have to pump games into the guys with upside like Venables and Waterman. There should be no suggestion of dropping them after one game.

Out: Nelson
In: Cole

B: Sheppard Barrass Schofield
HB: Hurn McGovern Jetta
C: Gaff Sheed Duggan
HF: LeCras Waterman Redden
F: Ryan Darling Lycett
R: Naitanui Shuey Yeo
I: Cole Cripps Venables Masten
E: Nelson (traveling) Ainsworth Hutchings Brander

Masten was surprisingly pretty serviceable, as was Schofield. Nelson wasn't bad either to be honest. Schoey might be unlucky if we decide to go in short against the Dogs.

Don't want to make too many changes, let guys get settled in their spots for a bit before we start throwing people around.

I think Masten tries hard, the sad thing is he is simply too weak. Why is he unable to get stronger so he can win the contested ball? Doesn't make sense and has been like that throughout his career

Jetta and Nelson out.

Hutchins and Cole in.
Wouldn’t have thought so.
Really! He was one of our better players who took it on.
Great intent from Jetta, but he was one of the worst users of the ball tonight. AFL player ratings has him worst on ground, which is probably a stretch:

No way he is dropped for being sloppy though, it clearly wasn't the right conditions for outside polish

Gee that is bad. Lycett was bad too.
