I'd bring Bizzell back and slot him into full-forward for the whole day. Couldn't do any worse than having a resting ruckman up there.

Neitz and Robertson are obviously out injured, Godfrey was only a last minute call up, Wheatley was terrible and either C.Johnson and Bate need to be dropped to bring in a more senior player.

I think we are going to need Dutchy against Geelong's tall forwards. Bizzell to replace Wheatley down back, but also as a possible forward option. Sylvia has been kicking goals in the VFL and should be ready to go. P.Johnson to provide us with a marking option up forward and Yze will give us some more experience and goal kicking power up forward.

Definitely need Ferguson back into the team to compete with the talls that Geelong have, being Mooney, Hawkins, Ottens and Nablett.

Given that our forward line is currently looking like a hospital ward, perhaps adopt a running-Bulldogs style gameplan against the Cats cause it's a fair call to say that we have the better running ability than they do in the middle of the park.

Maybe we shouldn't blood a youngster (as much as I'd like to) given that we're in a position where we need to win and such circumstances require the services of more established players. I had read in the Herald Sun that the Dunnyflush was available in their little injury section. Would be great to see him in the side.

You'd think he would be injured if they don't include him this week. If it is the OP that is troubling him, they're probably just playing safe, because that can get nasty fast.

Hard because I desperately would want to drop Wheatley but he isn't on the extended bench. From that team, assuming he can be dropped, I'd have a bench of Brown, Petterd, Bizzell, Yze with Fergeson at CHB for Wheatley. I'd also have Yze start at FP instead of Godfrey. Not sure about PJ. I'm just worrying that 3 ruckmen will hurt us. Give Bate, Miller, Davey and Yze more of a chance up forward.

Why when we lose our two best forwards do we bring in a team of backmen, im happy with the 3 big blokes in Holland, Carroll and Ferguson to play on Hawkins, Mooney and N. Ablett, but whats the point of playing more than 4 of Bizzell, Wheatley, Petterd, Brown, Whelan, Ward, and Bell. I'd have the last four in by the way.
What I'm saying is emergencies in Wheatley, Bizzell, Petterd. And I'd play Sylvia instead of P.J. he could play half a game up forward and be more useful - how much of the game will all 3 ruckman play.

Rivers is injured and Holland is perfect to play on the fat kid Geelong are so happy about, or Mooney if he has a brain explosion and gets suspended whilst head butting Holland.

As far as the 3 ruckmen are concerned, I'd dare say that the 3 would rotate between FF, Ruck and the bench. That is, at any one time, one would be our FF, one would be in the ruck and one would be on the bench.

ND IMO needs to play one of PJ and Jamar as a permanent FF for the whole game. They can ruck inside 50, but I think we'd be better off having one ruck play FF all game rather than rotate, as all we need is a contest and fingers crossed Davey and Yze can hit some form at ground level.
