Here are my 4 changes this week.

OUT: Embley, Staker, Hansen, Butler

IN: Swift, Schofield, Spangher, McGinnity

Need Embers and need to get more games into Butler. Although inconsistent, Butler is capable of huge games... Got best on ground in Hawks nab challenge. There are better players then McGinnity in the WAFL. Swift isn't ready yet, bring him in round 13.

These changes and these changes only are all we need to secure a win next week.

Out: Hansen, Staker
In: Kennedy, Houlihan

The outs are self explanitory. Kennedy is carving up in the WAFL, people are saying to leave him in for another week because of his injury but coming off an eye injury wont effect his game at all, not like its a hammy or anything, Plus an unfit Kennedy is still better then an unfit Hansen. Houlihan, also carving up, is the fastest and fittest player on our list. We need his legs to apply pressure in our zone defense and keep up the intensity for the whole 4 quarters. Even if he lacks in football skills, we can use his speed and pressure to force Melbourne into turning the ball over.

If we can keep up what we did against freo in the first half, we will win this game. Even if we kick 14.28, it will still be enough to beat them.

I was really disappointed with a few of Masten`s turnovers in the last quarter he really needs to show poise to justify being taken with a high draft pick.

anyway I agree with dumping
Staker and BJones
IN--Mcnamara in to tag and allow Sellwood to play on his terms
--Maginnity to debut

Would people say that Scott Selwood is better than the average player on our list in terms of tackling? If so, could do worse than bring him in.

OUT: Cox, because he is apparently not the ruckman we need right now

IN: Batman, because he is the ruckman we deserve

/TDK reference.

In : Davis - He has made 20 tackles in the last two games for the Swannies. And they stay tackled as he mostly takes them to ground. Maybe he should teach a few of the boys how to tackle rugby style!
And he has pace to burn.................;)

In : Kennedy if he is fit. He knows how to harrass and take contested marks.:thumbsu:

Those who want to drop Embley are ******ed. He was the only one running after half time as he showed in the 3rd quarter. Embley is what he is. A outside receiver. If people cant win a clearance his effectiveness will be limited. Still hes running hard. Kicks the ball well, Marks well. Nothing wrong with him IMO.

Deserve to be Out: Jones, Staker

In: Scooter, Houlihan

Like for like replacements.

Hansen stays in unless the selectors feel Kennedy is right to go.

Hansen stays in unless the other players all contract death on the way to the game. Should be the 38th player brought up in the selection meetings from now on

i'd like to see macnamara given an opportunity,he's been in good for last couple of weeks eagles need to reward good form

Houlihan and Swift have been more than good for at least the last month and they haven't got a look in yet.

Hopefully some of the young guys get a go this week.

Out: Rosa, Hansen
In: Kennedy, Swift

Butler suffers from TOG and still needs time from his injuries. Eagles rate him highly for a reason. He will bounce back to his 2006 best.

In: Houlihan, Swift, Wilkes

Move Brown forward.

NOPE. Schofield fills that roll a hell of a lot better and is a way better player than Wilkes will ever be.

Does anyone actually know if Kennedy will be fit for this weeks game?

Hmm forgot Schofield. I would like both in. Wilkes can take bigger forwards and schofield can get creative ;)

If Wilkes played our backline all of a sudden becomes to big and agile. Schofield is one of the quicker guys in our side and has the mobility to play small and tall. His disposal is better and he is better in one on one situations. I can't see Wilkes getting his contract renewed at the end of this year with MacKenzie, Brown, Schofield, Glass, Bones and even Spangher ahead of him.

Geez, you're a clever man BB.

Not sure if Bones will be dropped just yet but if so I would imagine another small defender in Selwood or Swift will replace him. The Selwoods are so honest and I reckon Scott will have no trouble handling the rise in class.

If Brown was going to play forward this year it would be this week. But they never even tried him up forward during the pre-season which tells me they are more than happy with him down back.
