Smithers was also on the radio last night; he said the players had been told to pack for - well, indefinitely, 2-3 weeks? But that was just precautionary, I guess, because there's so much uncertainty.

Has it ever been difinitively proven that a few degrees cooler in temperature weather wise can lead to sportsmen and women having more muscle injuries?..

Surely it comes down to undetaking an adequate warm up more than anything... and there not being much difference between playing a game when its 15 degrees or when its 10 degrees..

No idea, but if a couple of senior guys get some minor injuries that keep them out of games and nets us a top 3 pick...I'm ok with it.

This has to be utter stupidity.

Sloane has been playing poorly. He is a complete non-factor before half-time. Once the game slows down he goes ok.
Ultimately though, he is taking up midfield time from players who should be developing in there. So what's the point? Push to finish 10th? Woohoo. Great success!!
