These Dennis Denuto "its the vibe" arguments aren't helpful. Why don't you tell us what you liked about his game?More than being given credit for.
Found the ball well, also late in the game he floated back and provided cover and an outlet. These Dennis Denuto "its the vibe" arguments aren't helpful. Why don't you tell us what you liked about his game?
Yep I thought he looked better in the last quarter too chipping in at HB. Not sure that's a good sign though. GWS had him playing half back and he couldn't get out of there fast enough.Found the ball well, also late in the game he floated back and provided cover and an outlet.
I've written him off as being a first choice mid long term. If a fully fit Pedlar can't produce better footy than Hately, I'll be very disappointed. Ogilvie has form picking duds in the first round though so it's not impossible. You've written him off I get it, you'll be proven wrong....

I mean, currently, I'd take Himmelberg over Fogarty. Provides a tall target in the forward line, can play as a 2nd ruck in order to protect Thilthorpe, and seems to be able to find the ball just as much, even with Fog playing as a midfielderWe need to move one of the tall players forward to a tall in the backline, we don't need Himmelberg if we have Tex and Thilthorpe, with Fog able to pinch hit. At least if you play McAsey we can play him back or forward when needed seems we lack that versatility at the moment
Worrell has been the much better performed player at SANFL level the last month. Also has more offence to his game and is a better swingman imo. McAsey has looked average all year and has played one better game but it was nothing to write home about. Let him find his confidence at sanf level. He isn't ready. We need to move one of the tall players forward to a tall in the backline, we don't need Himmelberg if we have Tex and Thilthorpe, with Fog able to pinch hit. Kicking was god awful too. Small sample size as he was mostly handballing but he was poor by foot any time he had to kick the thing more than 20m.He looked nervous out there. Tacked well and got into the right spots but was fumbly.
Should improve next week.
People suggesting Newchurch. He’s a long way from AFL. He might play later in the year, but there are many that will play before him. Pedlar will debut before him.
Exactly. Either Newchurch breaks even with what Rowe is currently providing, or is betterPeople were also suggesting Thilthorpe was a long way from AFL after a couple of non descript SANFL games, some guys step up to the level, what have we got to lose? Can’t be any worse than Rowe was today.
Needs to get fit if he wants to keep his career going. They need to look at why he can't get fit. There may be a legitimate reason which may need further investigation.

He's not alone in our team there.Kicking was god awful too. Small sample size as he was mostly handballing but he was poor by foot any time he had to kick the thing more than 20m.
Sloane won't play this week, Berry will come back inHow about
Out: Hamill, McPherson, Himmelberg
In: Worrall, McAsey, Sloane
?
Will he be ready? If he is his inclusion’s a no brainer, but ankles can take a while
Hamill tooBerry to test that old axiom that ankles are either 0 weeks or 3 weeks
Have they said anything about that?Hamill too
Rolled ankle apparentlyHave they said anything about that?
Looked like a fracture according to Dr Carl
DMac jokes aside, we don't have anyone will that pace on the list.Hamill's looked bad. If its a rolled ankle its going to be in the more severe category for sure. A few weeks at least would be my bet. Damn shame too as his game is really coming together and we need his pace.
So that by the end of the year we've given Fogarty a good run at AFL and can make a definitive call on his future.
None of this umming and ahhing because we only gave him blocks of a few games at a time
He was listed as omitted, not injured? Will he be ready? If he is his inclusion’s a no brainer, but ankles can take a while
If not O'Connor should be in consideration, has found more ball the last couple of weeks and his clearance work has been improving.....and like Berry he's a 2 way runner.
