A nice break now until Easter Sunday. I suspect Wells will need another game in the VFL based upon reports, so working on that basis, just the one change;

OUT: Mayne (omitted)
IN: Elliott

Elliott definitely in if he gets through tomorrow all good.

Dunn potentially as well to send Reid forward.
I'm on that bandwagon with you. Moore needs the support.

There is two aspects here, 1: realistically who is actually available; 2: then who is selected

1:
  • Elliot gets through the VFL practice match, he's just in. So let's agree he is available.
  • Wells seems VFL bound to give him a run, so he's likely not available
2:
  • Elliot must come in with Mayne the main candidate
  • Moore is in trouble in my view; I could see Cox for Moore

Now where does Smith fit in? Listening to the press conference I get the feeling he stays in the side.
That means someone like Scharenberg still builds via VFL.
Goldsack? Can't see him falling just yet.

So all in all:

In: Elliot, Cox
Out: Mayne, Moore

Unfortunately not of that quality but White, Fas and a smaller extent WHE should provide support for Moore. Problem is they don't. Moore looks spent already. Big burden for him to bear (expectations- more external than internal). Would hate him to be another Fraser given potential vs burn out in the end.

although moore has not hit the score board like some hoped he would he
plays his role well. take the best defender and makes him honest. leave him in.
you have happy to gift maynard and other games, why not moore.
it will take time but he will come good.

I'm of the opinion that Moore needs to start providing support for Fasolo, White and Greenwood. I'd be tempted to drop Moore, bring in Dunn and play Reid forward.

Fair points?
We are thin in big forwards.

My big thing with Darcy is to give him a run at VFL where you'd think he'd dominate, he'd get touch and confidence.

He is THE future that's for sure.

Need to reward players for a win like this.

No changes, even if Elliot is fit.

btw first game without blair and we win ahahahaha

Out: Mayne, Crisp
In: Elliott, Wells

Some players don't play VFL. Wells is that player.

Crisp was quite good tonight I thought. Can't see him being dropped. Would be ahead of Smith and Phillips in the pecking order.

For the Blair lovers on here from our club website- Jarryd Blair will lead a forward line also consisting of Mason Cox and Ben Crocker, while a midfield of James Aish, Callum Brown and Alex Woodward will no doubt trouble the Roosters. Enjoy!

D.Moore: 28 Disposals, 0 Frees for, 5 frees against, 3 tackles and 1 goal.

You'd say he had an okay game last night, except those stats are his combined total stats for the whole season...

Would Keeffe do worse?
