Out: Frederick, Duursma
In: Bergman, Jonas
How much training is Jonas going to have before the game? Comes out of iso the day before right?

Also I reckon Bergman plays SANFL, missed 4 games now.

Hard to make many changes by Dixon, Raz, Jonas and Bergmann need to come in and Dumont was unlucky to lose his spot.

I would imagine we would be getting a SANFL game into Bergmann and Raz (as he didn’t get any AFL time) and maybe Dixon too.

Jonas straight in for Frederick.

Emergencies: Mead, Dumont, Schofield and Lord.

Hard to argue with this but is bergs ready.

Farrell and Motlop poor, perhaps fantasia squeezes one out?

I dunno if you've glanced at the Coleman Medal leaderboard, specifically at the two feline forwards in the top five; or the heights of our other defenders, but I think we may need to rush Tom Jonas straight back in no matter what.

A lot of moving parts here that cause uncertainty

Is Jonas gonna be able to come straight back in after protocols? We will need him for Cameron and Hawkins.

Is Fantasia actually fit enough for a full game of AFL footy?

Is Dixon actually fit enough for a full game of AFL footy?

Bergman?

Dumont?

I think if everyone is fit and available, Jonas, Dixon and Fantasia are best 22. I don't however think they will be.

In: Jonas, Dumont

Maybe Fantasia sub again? Motlop so bad I'd take half baked Raz at this stage though.

I'm not sure which has me in more of a mental twist, that I would be nodding at Dumont for Duursma, or that if we beat Geelong we will be on equal wins with them.

I have nfi 1) what the ins and out should be or 2) what the ins and out would be in Ken's mind.

Its a good problem to have with a few players coming back.

I think Dixon needs to come in, Hayes has been really good to date but against the better sides I really don't think we'll get away with SPP rucking much longer.
Hayes/Finlayson to take the centre square bounces, Finlayson and Dixon to take bounces in the forward line when Hayes is having a rest.
SPP has battled admirably in Ruck but to beat Geelong at Kardinia Park then our structure is going to need to be at its most productive meaning we're going to have to win the midfield convincingly as I have my doubts about our backline holding Hawkings and Cameron if we only break even.
Huge test next, win and the finals is a definite chance, lose and it will leave us with little room for error for the remainder of the year.

I’m a Duursma fan but he’s really struggling and Dumont has shown a lot so a switch there.

Fredrick just doesn’t have it. He’s out for Jonas given the height issues down back.

You can’t drop any of Todd, MG or Fin so Dixon has another run in the twos. Raz needs to string together 2-3 games in the reserves.

In theory we have Dixon, Fantasia, Jonas, Dumont & Bergman all selectable.

IF they are all fit and ready to go there will be some serious headaches for the coaching staff at selection. We just don't know enough externally about Dixon's ankle, the training load Fantasia has done, how Jonas and Dumont are is dealing with their infections, and how much touch Bergman has had.

If they were all cherry ripe then I'm going

IN: Dixon, Jonas, Bergman, Fantasia
OUT: Finlayson, Jones, Frederick, Duursma (sub)

Can't see that happening though.
