We don't have dusty Martin in the twos we have gooch who had a crack against brissie and was pretty ordinary we have beech who had a crack and wasn't up to it hamptons injured as is cheney and lynch. Wigg appears vanilla Doedee can't kick as he proved today, there is no way keath is ready he got pantsed by eddy today, so do you have any other ideas

So who will you pick if we get injuries?

Galluci is ready for another crack.

If there are injuries we aren't going in with 21 players so depending who gets injured depending who comes in regardless if they are ready or not

Are you saying gooch came in and played a blinder and we dropped in after Brisbane, he will develop he has proven he isn't ready yet

So tell me if you think Wiggs the man or if keath is ready after eddy schooled him today or Doedee with his poor disposal that is a coach killer in the AFL

This is so obvious I don't know how people don't get it.

We are in a good position now but it means NOTHING if we don't have depth ready to go and the incumbents are tired and banged up physically and mentally.

Go down the exact same 2016 path and it will be insanity.
Yes....it blows my mind that Wigg has not at least been given 1 game yet.

At least we have rotated a few due to injury this year....McGovern , Lever, Lynch...all key players...all had a rest due to injury. M Crouch getting banged up is a real concern. Hopefully Hampton can come back and show some form....Seedsman too. Hartigan as well. These are the sort of fresh legs that came back and helped the dogs last year. If it ain't season ending....sometimes injuries are a good thing.

Cool, let's bury our head in the sand with no contingency for injuries.

After the SANFL:

Out: Thompson, Mackay, Cameron
In: Greenwood, Seedsman, Gallucci

I like this except keep Mackay and give Milera a rest. He is clearly struggling in the last month and a half. Give him the Greenwood treatment to refresh. Give Lynch another week off to get fit as the Darwin trip and the weather could keep him down.

That's a pretty weird question/comment mate. Him playing on this year, training hard, helping our other mids to improve...which part is the part he's not showing respect?
Bearing in mind he's not part of the coaching panel, who are actually the people that selects the team to play.

How has he helped other mids improve? Have you actually watched him in the SANFL? 0 coaching going on.

The fact that he's training with them, tackling them and bashing into them to help toughen them up. Or do you suspect he's just been in the stands having Balfours pies during training sessions?

He's been like that the last few games he's played. Something definitely going on. He's lost that fire.
When the siren went to finish the game, Cameron was on the bench with Sloane. Sloaney gives him a big hug and is all smiles, Cameron barely acknowledges sloane - he just stands up and walks off. No joy in his face whatsoever.

Will experienced players like Douglas and Mackay ever be held accountable for poor performance when the game is on the line? Their first 3 quarters were awful and only surpassed by Cameron and Thompson.

Mackay was influential in the early stages of the first and third quarters. A number of players weren't influential at any stage.

Zero touches in the second quarter, when the Dogs turned the heat up.

Who cares? We've seen this movie over and over and over. And it always ends the same. With the little boy rag dolled when it matters in the big games.

Could be because he knows his form has been poor and he's had another average game.

We have a number of players out of form, Milera, Cameron and Douglas. I'm no fan of Mackay but he's performing better than these guys.

We have a mentality of not making many changes to a winning side which I don't agree with. If you can make the side better, you make it better no matter how well you are doing, but that's not our selectors mentality. If it was I would like to see:

Greenwood in for Thommo
Wigg in for Douglas
Galluci in for Cameron
Seedsman in for Milera

You have an immediate upgrade with Greenwood and Seedsman.

We give Wigg an opportunity and given Douglas's recent form we lose nothing.

I'm confident Galluci can at least match Charlie's output which isn't much at the moment.

But it's likely to be Seeds and Greenwood for Milera and Thompson.

But gooch won't match Douglas output this is proven we've seen it, so why drop Douglas
