If after the game we just saw on the weekend you say you want Westhoff dropped but you don't include Daniel Stewart as an out, you should acknowledge that you're too biased to comment on Westhoff with any credibility and never comment on him again. Westhoff was clearly in our best 3 on the weekend. Daniel Stewart was probably in the worst 3 in the competition on the weekend.

Tbh I've wanted Westhoff dropped for the best part of 16 weeks. Those two statements for not meant to be inclusive, his attitude is a lot of whats wrong with our club imo.

Westhoff has been consistant without being great DStewart on the other hand has had endless opportunities to cement his spot and has failed miserably, why arent Salopek and Banner given the same chances Stewart has been, thats the question i want asked?

Never want to see Daniel Stewart in a Port guernsey again. Has never played a good game for us in the regular season. He's never going to make it. Too soft, too weak, too unfit, too dumb, too mentally fragile.

I'm not actually certain this is the case. It's easy to earmark Westhoff as a tall forward or tall defender but I think his best position is on a wing or HBF, similar to the role he played last week. Stewart has no variety to his game whatsoever.

If you play 3 tall forwards, 3 tall backs and 2 ruckmen then Westhoff shouldn't be played on the wing. We loose to much run in that scenario.

Agree... but we haven't been a better team. Our structures go to shit when Ebo is our default main target... our mids think "who should I kick it to?"

- oh there's Ebo on a lead outside the F50... kick.
- oh there's Ebo on a lead to the boundary line... kick.
- oh there's Ebo running back with the light of the ball... kick.
- oh there's Ebo with a defender 3 inches taller then him all over him... kick.
- oh there's Ebo on a 1 v 2... kick.
- oh there's Ebo on a 1v 3... kick.
- oh there's Ebo with the entire defence around him like a handbag on the dance floor at a hens party... kick.

I liked it better when our midfielders were forced to at least look for different options or perhaps carrying the ball further and having a dob themselves.

Was sitting opposite him at the dinner and I didn't have the bitterness/courage in me to head into ^ this topic. I really wanted to just discuss some basic stuff like multiple leads or moving up to create a 2on1 when the opposition plonk a loose player in front of him.

About as close as I got was asking him the best bit of advice he has ever received (hoping something a former coach/player might have stuck in his mind)... when he replied with a rather blank face that he couldn't think of anything at all... I stopped hoping the discussion would head in to the above territory.
