It got him involved in the game yesterday also when he went in.Not sure why we’ve gone away from Trembath as the second ruck to be fair.
Hes been the best bloke in there and pretty much pulled us over the line against the blues

It's the reason I'm happy to go after him.You can add comben to the not knowing what he’s doing out there.
I don’t give a flying **** how athletic you are he ****ed us by not having an ounce of football nous yesterday.
Maybe we do need weitering after all. The best key defenders look to be the smartest.
Combens in our dumbest 3 footballers. And there’s a ****ing lot of them
Sold. Where do I sign?I want 4+, expect a p!ssweak 1 or 2...
Out options: JK / Spargo, Lounge / LMac / Zurhaar, Trembath / Larkey / Darling, Blamires / Daniel
In options: Hardeman, Harvey, Banch, George, Whitlock, Pink, Powell, Mikunda.
Replace poor 1sts form with good 2nds form ffs.
Good suggestions except McKercher plays in the guts for mine.OUT: Davies-Uniacke (inj/rest), Logue, McDonald, Zurhaar (all omitted)
IN: Hardeman, Pink, Harvey, B. George
Positional changes:
Caleb Daniel to HFF
McKercher to wing
Harvey to HBF
Hardeman to BP
Trembath to take CBA ruck duties. Xerri starts at CHB and then rotates on-ball as Trembath rotates forward.
Dawson plays a primary KPD role
Good suggestions except McKercher plays in the guts for mine.
Confident Clarko"s probably the only Coach going around who'd play one of the land's best underage midfielders closing in on 50 games everywhere else.
Let's hope Mikunda's not far away either.

If size was the metric then you would never play the likes of Neale, N Daicos, McCluggage and Pickett against those players either. I'm talking CBA's where it's all twitch muscles, reflexes and separation speed. Same reason Hawks run Watson through there.I'm maybe in the minority on this one but I don't love Colby in the guts. I think he's too small for a modern AFL midfield.
How's he going to effectively stop a Bontempelli or Cripps when it's his turn to go? He's 5'11 and weighs 80kg wet.
He's talented and useful elsewhere.
Well then enjoy your afternoon at homeWon't be pissing away my Saturday attending or watching this game unless players ( particularly seniors) are made accountable at selection. Sick of this piss weak club and its selection policy.

Zurhaar laid ZERO tackles - Thats a droppingIn: Powell, Hardeman, Harvey
Out: Dawson, Konstanty, Spargo
Get in a three players who can use the ball well over three players who can't. Get Trembath/Darling to do the ruck work in the forward half. X to play 90% game time. Goldstein used to do it, none of this 60% game time shit.
Nothing surerOut: Konstanty, Blamires
In: Banch, Powell
That's what I think will happen.
Banch is injuredNothing surer
I think that's fine, but he is a baby in football terms. If size was the metric then you would never play the likes of Neale, N Daicos, McCluggage and Pickett against those players either. We do have a history of mucking around unnecessarily with player development.
Both smaller overall tho, and the original post was talking about AO as if it was bigger than what we're used to.AO and KP are both narrower, longer grounds than Marvel (or the MCG).
5-10m longer than the grounds in Vic and most grounds.

We have form when it comes to drafting players for a certain position and then "developing" them elsewhere, like our KPD Dawson that has over night become a 30% TOG ruckThen he was a complete waste at pick 2. He is a mid and should be played there.

Agree though the reason I think we can't play Kerch in the midfield is just because he doesn't play accountably enough, and our midfield already lacks defensive consistency. If size was the metric then you would never play the likes of Neale, N Daicos, McCluggage and Pickett against those players either. Don't understand what the problem was with playing him as the designated linebreaking defender tbh.
Most teams get away with one like that.Because he is not a defender and his influence is vastly superior moving into the forward 50.
You're right. He's yet to play well, young Colby.Agree, thinking we give him 6-7 years to learn. Daicos, Neale and Pickett had at least 10 years of experience before playing well.
Out: old cultureWhitlock in for Soft Floppy Larkey
Hardeman in for Zero Tackles Zurhaar
Most teams get away with one like that.
Blakey isn't a defender. Neither's Amon really. Or Whitfield. Noble. Dale.
