Na, I reckon they might have seemed probable based on his previous form of making late changes but that's about it. Most of the time it was a good player coming out, without a bit of inside info, I doubt many would pick them.

He didn't train, but this was apparently due to the same personal reason which prevented him from traveling with the team.

My estimation is that Clancee might come in for Silva due to the dodgy weather & MJ plays.

We late changed 2 players in three games last year.

I would say that Ross plays games all the time.

Last year off the top of my head, Hill out against (i don't remember), Mundy out against Collingwood I think? Duffield against Geelong, Ibbotson and Taberner against Carlton, Silvagni against Geelong, Luke McPharlin against Hawthorn, Chris Mayne and Ibbo against St. Kilda

I reckon MJ copped a niggle and they are giving him till the last minute to come up, simple as that. It may be that he has a personal issue to deal with also but that is neither here nor there with regard to him playing.

I agree, Barlow is just so underrated for our game plan. Always the first in and does his stuff without the flair Fyfe does it with. Bobs up with one or two goals too.

Yeah this. RTB said a couple of times, once after the game and in an interview on Monday that MJ had picked up an minor injury during the GC game. He'll be given until the last minute test, maybe he already has done one in Perth and they decided to leave him there, don't know about that, but for sure he was carrying something out of last weeks game.

As for SCOS not being there, well that's just weird.
