So he definitely had OP. Heard the rumour (maybe from your posts?) but wasn't sure.

Definitely ran better last week and looked faster than he did in previous weeks.

OP soreness is what I was told by a decent source (looked it too as he wasn’t striding out and he was playing deep defender for a few weeks). Last week was definitely better, so not long now. Hopefully same with Goat in a month or so.

I've been assuming something going on for weeks as we have been desparate for the change. As much as it hurts, we don't want him rushed - there is always another game at his age.

But uh... anyone who has watched VFL would agree he has not gotten this opportunity based on his VFL performance.

Reckon he adds a bit of flexbility in the middle so they can potentially have Trembath / Darling keep defenders more accountable, but realistically, it could be as simple as they club think they offer a similar amount with Corr's current form and may as well be learning in that case.

Agreed that if the choice is Corr or Shotgun, the answer is shotgun.

I think back to last year when we played swans vfl at Arden st. Logan McDonald was playing his first game in 6 months months. He played a half.

He had 4 on Dawson by qrt time

Him into the ruck.

Big opportunity for Shotgun. Been alot of question marks around his ability. Has played one good game in his career and it was on one of the toughest match ups in football Sam Darcy.

He can give big X a chop out in the ruck, smashing Grundy as much as he can for a few mins a quarter, and can take McLean when he goes forward.
Hardemann obviously not quite ready if he's working through OP issues, likely needs a few more games like that one.
I didn't think Toby was that incredible in the VFL honestly compared to Hardemann.

I just realised Hardemann isn't selected. I thought he looked very good last week. I don't underdtand how L Mac or Daniel is in before him. I hope you're right and it's because he's not cheery ripe yet.

I think its more about the matchups and role as the backup ruck than VFL performance.
I would agree Toby has performed better down back in the VFL, but Will has shown something in the ruck in the VFL.
I don't think it's a bad idea to manage Tristan's minutes if that's the plan after his huge game against the Cats.
Also, doesn't hurt to look at two rucks when you come up against Freo, Hawks and Dees.

Neither Dawson or JK really did enough to deserve a call up last week imo. Neither did Pink or Banch.

Dawson competed well with Stanley tho.

I would agree. Hardemann was the only one really looking AFL at VFL level imo.
