I thought Rowies response to Bicks saying he didn't think VB would get another contract the night before was much better. You'd think he'd just been told he had to put Bambi down. But I did think Bicks' referring to Seed just running around unpressured getting easy ball to launch his 60m goals was humorous. It's a weapon Bicks, just like JJ's ability to run up the ground and burn off his opponent on the return. Only difference is that JJ isn't in direct competition with one of Bicks' favourites. At least Rowie admits he loves the players and it's obviously emotion.

I agree but then we start playing guys like Mackay on the wing which weakens us terribly

We need more guys capable of playing outside ( wigg / Milera) to push for games ASAP or bring in guys they can so we can get Atkins more inside as he's a nice little point of difference in there

Smith or Hampton can take Atkins current role.

I was dumbfounded and immediately wondered when Mackay kicked two 60m bomb goals? But then Bicks explained them away as almost worthless and easy…wtf!!

If Mackay gets selected ahead of Seedsman this week then the cult of personality and favourites is extremely strong at West Lakes.

At best he's 4th in line for a call-up. Those ahead of him are Walker, Henderson and Wigg. Could happen, if they want to give Walker & Henderson another week off to be completely over their injuries, and don't want to debut 2x players in the same game (O'Brien has already been announced).

I don't think we'll play two debutants this week, regardless of the opposition. We already have 1 debutant confirmed.

I've got absolutely no doubt that blokes like VB, Mackay, Reilly are absolute champion fellas and give 100% effort and professionalism also.

Kicking goals from 60m with such ease and regularity is an absolute weapon

Don't know how it could be ignored especially when added to the fact he defends well as an outside mid...vital for playing on guys like Isaac smith in finals ( see last years semi !!!!)
