It was interesting to hear RTB on Ch 7 tonight mention that not only were Sylvia, Clarke & Pearce in the mix for this week but also Simpson & Morabito!

But then again it could be a bit of a smokescreen.

He says Mora is, but no. Last week he was 8 weeks away, I know we've got injuries but we can't play him now, needs to improve his kicking skills in the WAFL.

Defender Zac Dawson will return after serving his one-match suspension for tripping.

The team lost stars Chris Mayne, Michael Walters and Garrick Ibbotson to injury.

I can't see Tabs or Simpson making the final 22.

It think Taberner will make it to the in 22, given the loss of Walters and Mayne. He may be needed for forward structure as he was last year.

edit: forgot about Clarke, he would almost definitely be ahead of Tabs.

Sylvia as a forward may work. Is like to keep it as tall as possible in there. But we may need Sylvia in the middle

Doesn't mean they are definites.. Probably will get given fitness tests tomorrow. Ryder out is huge for us, no reason why Sandi and Clarke shouldn't dominate.

I really want Tabs in, otherwise we're going to have an under-pressure second string midfield trying to hit a short forward line on the chest all night.

They're going to need some marking targets to use as a get out of jail card and we can't be bombing it to an outnumbered Pav every time.

Me either. Clancee, Sylvia and Dawson the inns for mine. And then possibly a late inclusion would be Zac Clarke for the wooly mammoth.
