Interesting one.

For me, we just have too many players clogging up spots and doing the bare minimum.

All potential:

Outs:
Magner is a certain out.
Watts/Nicholson/Tapscott all took hits and I'd expect one to miss.
Bennell was good with the ball, as was Blease. Shame they had 15 touches together. One will miss.
Bail had 20 of the least effective touches in the game, also shanked one.
Bate simply has no future at the club.
MacDonald and Dunn are saving their arses and will stay in.
Spencer and Martin lost the hitouts, but only by 2. If Jamar is back, leave Spencer out.
Moloney did the bare minimum to keep his spot, but the vest will be elsewhere.

Ins:
Jamar is a certain in, if fit.
Cook, Gysberts and Couch are all now strategically important.
If Cook stinks it up tomorrow, Fitzpatrick gets his chance.
Petterd is an option, straight in for Bate. Just play adequately.
Jetta is also an option.
Davis and McDonald are both chances. Tom will play if he's fit, Davis will play if we don't play Cook and we leave Rivers up forward.
Davey seems like he's fit and will play, Green also.
Tynan is a tough nut who can run, play him.
Morton would need to be very good in the VFL to warrant a call up.
Strauss is a classy user, whether we fast track him or wait a few more weeks is questionable. Should be playing the role Watts is now, and must finish the season with a solid run.

Strong OP, far too many changes though I reckon. We need to know the Mystery Injury of the Week of course, plus of course Casey form tomorrow.

That said, I would like to see Cook get a run. Davey should come in if he's ready, possibly Green too. Rivers to return to the backline please, just doesn't offer a lot up there. Jamar in of course, Spencer back to Casey with a pat on the back for not completely spudding it up. I would like to see Bennell get another full game, he looked good when he got it... obviously he didn't get it enough, but he needs consistent game time to stay in the play more often. Agree with the Bate assessment... did not offer much at all.

I was going to do proper ins and outs but it's too soon... will revisit it later in the week.

Not all changes, just throwing a few suggestions up...

Definitively in no sense of the word, I'd say:

Out: Magner, Bate, Bail, Bennell, (Spencer), Tapscott (Nicholson)

In: Tynan, Cook (Fitzpatrick), (Jamar), Petterd, Gysberts, Couch

After the Casey win:

Out: Magner, Bate, Bail, Spencer
In: Fitzpatrick, Green, Gysberts, Couch

Bennell was good with the ball, as was Blease. Shame they had 15 touches together. One will miss.

Blease had 8 tackles and used his disposals much much better. Bennell will go (and should never come back).

I thought Nicho was terrific in a backline under siege and is becoming more composed each week.

I did enjoy the lengthy chase by Blease, probably in the second quarter, where he kept at it from forward of the wing right back into the defensive 50... great effort.

Spencer actually did some good things, but must go upon Jamars return. Not sure why the Bate hate, often he was open and seriously bad delivery limited anything he could do. I think we are running out of players to try, but wait lets give Petterd a go! Maybe Mags needs a rest, perhaps Tynan a chance.

OUT: Bate, Spencer, Magner (needs a rest)
IN: Petterd, Jamar, Cook

Chances: Sellar and McDonald if fit will come into serious consideration.

Team:

B: Nicholson Frawley Macdonald
HB: Grimes Garland Rivers
C: Trengove Sylvia Bail
HF: Tapscott Watts Petterd
F: Howe Martin Bennell
R: Jamar Jones McKenzie
Int: Cook Moloney Blease
S: Dunn

Please, Neeldy - give us some more balance and stop trying to give us 'versatility'... all I want is to win games.

Should we not wait until the Casey game tomorrow until we predict who comes in????

All these Casey boys know there is a spot there for them next week if they play well tomorrow. Let's see who steps up.

Couch should play, but he won't. We do have a lot of inside grunt, unfortunately only one of them is any good.

Hard to say when the 2s haven't played yet...
But this would be nice: in: Jamar, Sellar, Strauss - to play Watts' role and give him another go in forward, McDonald (if fit)
out: Spencil, Magner, Bate - give Trengove more midfield time, Bennell - only if McDonald is fit

Good post brah; 'cept:
Couch has been put back onto the rookie list (althoug I admit I would like to see him play before the year is out)
Cook - Can't play out a full VFL game and is still a twig. If we were coming up against GWS/GC I'd give him a run.
Petterd - Has been hit or miss most of the year according to the VFL reports. May come in because of injury/someone needs a rest.
Davey - Not really obvious. He did have a great game against GWS; but so did everyone. Needs to work his way back.
Sellar - Would he be necessary against Freo?

Trenners - Hasn't been great, but deplorable is a strong call. He has been better than others in the team (even if he's not playing to a 'captain' standard) and has shown some good signs in the past few games.
Moloney - Has done turd all, I agree he can piss off.
Magner - Decent player, but isn't a forward and probably needs a rest
Spencil - I agree, can't see him staying on the list much longer.
Bate - Not sure. Is like Petterd I think (although with much less dick-sucking from supporters), can be great, can be woeful
Bennell - Kinda agree, although he hasn't got a proper role in the side.
Nicho - No. Just no. He takes the game on, runs hard and gives his all. Does shank it a bit, but is becoming a very handy player.

That is a sad reflection on our year... That said, not sure why there is so much hate this week, I thought he was pretty good yesterday.
He was, he is starting to make the right decisions. His other half, Grimes, was shocking.

Snce Casey hasn't played yet I'll look at the outs.

Magner - he's not a forward and surely is overdue a stint in the VFL.
Bennell - my mate at the game yesterday reckons that Bennell is one of the more talented players on the list. It is a tragedy that he doesn't use it - just like most of the team.
Spencer - liked his effort yesterday but I think Jamar needs to come in if fit. Especially given Fremantle (without Sandilands) are still tall + mobile with Clarke and Griffin.
Moloney - it's time. It's been time for a while, it's beyond me how he's still getting a game.

So for mine there's four blokes who need to watch their back today.

Without actually seeing the Casey game, just going by stats...

Green kicked 6 and had a lot of touches. Will definitely be IN.

Couch had 25 and 4 goals. If he was ever gonna get re-promoted and given a senior game, it'll be this week.

Gysberts and Davey both had a fair amount of the ball, with Davey kicking 3 also.
