Firrito over Mullet against the Cats at Simmonds/Skilled/Kardinia is a good selection I think, especially considering Mullet's form over the entire season so far. And Wood gets to continue to work on maintaining his lead in the VFL coleman :thumbsu:

It appears as though the Cats supporters aren't entirely happy with their changes tonight. Might get a late change from them tomorrow?

He's been good this year. Played big parts in our wins over Sydney and Freo. Better than McMahon until Macmillan is fit again anyway.

Fingers crossed he does a job. From the outside looking in he just looks a fish out of water given where you're going. A bit like Matt Thomas was with us in 2013.

Happy with the change. Mullett has been struggling and Wright looked very focused down back last week. Spud's big body gives us a contested edge down back which I think we'd need over McMahon's more cerebral approach. Would like Bastinac as sub again.

I'm also happy with spud. He is a good selection when a game isn't under the roof or fast.

He gets exposed for pace at etihad, but in a tight tough contest, against what looks like a slow Geelong side it's the right call.

Feeling confident.

Played a big part in the roofless Freo and Sydney games as Heaps of fun said. Hopefully will thrive again tomorrow night under pressure in an important game. I think Wright will be sub this week however, just going by Brad's presser.

Could become a very important player come finals.

Every time i see firrito in the side i think to myself we have problems.
But based on this year to his credit he has been okay. Better than Mcmahon anyway.

Totally irrelevant to the topic but this is the most on-point and...uh...cerebral description of a footballer I've ever read.
Brilliant work HOF.

Mullet hasn't been setting the world on fire and both of the inclusions did their job. I'd make him earn his spot back. (realise this won't happen)
Good call. I think his form with injury left alot to be desired.
