Cordy still named as starting ruck in team the club emails either a mistake or he stays if Minson misses
Jong also named in midfield in that link. Expect it to magically change when someone notices.

I hope Jong is actually given a week or two off so his hand can get better. He was crucified by being asked to play a week after hand surgery.

Nah Patrick Keane has tweeted saying that if Minson is out we can name someone else by 11:00 tomorrow morning :)
Do you think that means they don't have to be an emergency? The club email team has no mention of Minson, so they're probably not very confident.

Even when Cordy is an out, he'll still probably be in.

Nothing wrong than with a bit of player rotation for a young club.
Players like Talia and Cordy have had a good start to the year, selection-wise. No doubt they'll get games before the year is out.
Good to see Hamling play his first game and the others who deserve selection (Webb, Hrovat, Grant) with strong VFL games get a gig.

Really happy to see Webb and Grant back in but would have played Talia myself. Massive test for one of Fletcher or Hamling to handle the primary onfield negociations with Cameron. We are going to have learned a heap about the team before this year is out the way our selectors are going about it.

Can be anyone. Not sure the email team would be in the know, just precautionary I'd say :)

Didn't notice the Jong one work experience kid at it again obviously

Apart from Talia out happy with all of the changes. Would've liked to see McLean but that's much of a muchness.

The 4 most people wanted out in Goodes, Cordy, Hunter and Jong all out. Webb, Macrae, Grant, Hrovat all in.

Logical and sensible changes. Good to see the MC is making some good choices.

They've been reading Bigfooty. I believe they'll start basing the changes on the ins and outs thread from now on.

Happy Toyd is getting a run against his old side, imagine he will get a rest next week against Port as Bevo is hinting. Can have a few weeks off with the bye and get ready for the back end of the season.

Dale, Webb and Hamling in is huge, two first year players and a debutant, all deserving too.

And about time. It's been common knowledge for decades that the ordinary punter knows much more about team selection than match committee.

No one has really mentioned Crameri yet, that will hurt a bit. Such a young fwd line named, well the whole side is obviously young, but when Roughead is your "veteran fwd" that's a young line.

Spine of Hamling, Roberts, Stringer and Boyd with possibly Campbell or Ayce as ruck blows my mind. So young and inexperienced yet still playing great footy and right in most games.

I like the recalls of Minson, MaCrae, Grant, Webb and Hrovat, but I can't say that I am happy with the outs.

Losing Crameri really hurts, and I don't understand the omission of Talia, who I think has been excellent so far this year.

I hope Hamling goes OK, but with so many new and recalled players I fear that our team work is likely to be our downfall this week.

Looks like we are falling back into development mode at the selection table. I hope we snap out of it soon.

I would have thought Talia woud be our best match up for Cameron. Maybe he's carrying something and needs a bit of a ease up. The MC knows better than we do and it's fantastic we have a lot better depth this year where the ins are equal in talent to the outs.
I respect the MC are playing the long game too, and seroiusly going for team and individual player development and recovery. Unfortunate Goodesy out for some time as he was imptnt as a core mature body. Go Dogs.
