lol there is so much confusion on twitter that we have named Minson. Randoms have no clue what's going on.

I would have thought Talia woud be our best match up for Cameron. Maybe he's carrying something and needs a bit of a ease up. The MC knows better than we do and it's fantastic we have a lot better depth this year where the ins are equal in talent to the outs.
I respect the MC are playing the long game too, and seroiusly going for team and individual player development and recovery. Unfortunate Goodesy out for some time as he was imptnt as a core mature body. Go Dogs.

Last year it felt like a 50:50 chance we would watch Wood head across to Cameron pre-bounce.

I like this year better :)

Isn't it nice that we have a young developing backman in Hamling who can play when Talia is out instead of Mark Austin.

As a Cats fan, good to see Hamling get a gig.

Not sure why it didn't work out at Geelong, but hope he can do well for you guys.

He wasn't in an enviable position trying to break into a defencive squad that has been the bedrock of your recent success.

Mfw Minno is named and Toyd and Roughie are up forward

Great news on Will, and glad the MC had some steel to drop under performing players.

Can't wait for this game, hope they "crack in" at every contest and make sure Griff comes off the ground knowing he has earned every touch he gets.

The changes just make a lot more sense this year.

A ruckman for a ruckman (In Minson, Out Cordy), a key defender for a key defender (In Hamling, Out Talia) a medium forward for a medium forward (In Grant, Out Crameri), actually trying to keep some semblance of structure. Last year was like a lucky dip.

Our backline looks kinda... short and inexperienced.
Agree. There's always a fallback plan though. Rough is insurance despite the fact I love that he's named forward. Has been good every game this year IMO and I hope that continues in a new role.

With hrovat the most psycho sob defensively I think we'll be bolstered at pressuring their entries. Looking forward to Honey coming back though.

My fav thing about rough named forward ruck is that it looks like we really want to give Boyd support against his old team.

I anticipate Webb to play some minutes in the guts this week. I'm just so happy that we're 4-4 buy we've got some really good looking youngsters demanding games.

The heavy lifters this week to be Wallis, Stevens, Bonts, Picken, Dahlahus and Macrae. The rest (stringer, rat, Webb) will only pinch hit.

The Minson- Mummy battle is mouthwatering. Minson was ok in that one last year and his early season ruck work was ok. He lifted in the centre in round 1 in the last quarter. Jee it'll be nice to generate some scarier clearances too with our mids being well set up around the ball by necessity in recent weeks. I'm tipping higher numbers from all our starting mids.

How do we win this game? Rabid defence- causing turnovers, slick run (which our teams been picked for) and our two superstars, Stringer and Bont. You just never know with those two. Although I'm sure some gws players will try and put their weenies in Bonti's bum like they used to do Gryphon.

I'm not tipping a win but would love us to break Griffen in half
