Does anyone find that playing two undersized youngsters in Laird and Brown down back who seem to be limited to shutdown roles a little troubling? It's not as if either provide much run from the back line. Not saying we should drop one as I know they are two promising young players coming through, just interested to see people's thoughts.

In: Grigg, Matt Crouch, Wright

Out: Lyons, Jeansch, Martin

they are the only 2 players in our entire squad under 6'4" that can defend a contest. they're not going anywhere.

I was all for giving B.Crouch a couple games in the sanfl first but after watching that rubbish today they might as well bring him staight in. He is a class act and his worst would be way better tham martins best.

I would play m crouch and grigg for the whole of the year as both those players are the future ofthe club. No point wasting them in sanfl especially when grigg would be the best user of the ball in our whole squad.

Ive always thought it should be laird or brown not both as they dont provide enough run from defence.

If Jaensch was replaced by a player in the ilk of CEY with some height and athleticism maybe it would better suit our play. I know Jaensch has decent disposal but he's an abomination defensively. Even if we played Laird in Jaensch's role - he's great defensively and in the contest and could run off his opponent.

OUT: Podsiadly, Martin
IN: Hartigan (Otten to replace Pods up forward), Grigg (someone who can hit a target by foot)

Like to see CEY given a run of 4-5 games like Martin was to see where he's at.

McKernan coming in is a bloody joke. Delusional you guys suggesting it. He was shit in the SANFL, showed nothing since the NAB cup and would have offered us nothing today. Jenkins has has one bad game, and by bad I mean not getting a lot of the ball. But that was a similar story today for our other tall forwards. Sandi was always going to dominate but every other week, Jacobs does just fine in the ruck.

As for ins well Wright will probably come back in. I would like to see Brad Crouch as the sub. Isn't fit enough for a full game as of yet but could be great to add some speed and class to the midfield late in the game.

For outs, Martin, CEY, Lyons; one will probably go.

In: Reilly, Crouch Jn,

Out: Martin, CEY,

What I think should happen.

Doesn't matter anymore. I'm not too concerned with the ins and outs. But Reilly will be back for his 200th on the back of Saturday.

North have come back from 35 points down to be ahead by 28. There was a 50 point turnaround in HALF a quarter. If we play like we did tonight, it won't matter who we bring in or throw out.
Especially if we don't bring IN: defensive pressure and hunger for the contest..
You let North go, they run riot and cut you to pieces..

In: M.Crouch, B.Crouch, Hartigan
Out: Podsiadly, Ellis-Yolmen, Rutten

Dangerfield to play more forward. Same with Kerridge.

Crouch brothers added to the midfield mix.

If team was playing well and finals looking a genuine possibility Reilly, Rutten and Porplyzia would probably push for a spot, but time to rule a line through them. Same with Podsiadly.

B: Brown Hartigan Laird
HB: Otten Talia Jaensch
C: Smith Thompson Martin
HF: Kerridge Walker Jenkins
F: Betts Dangerfield Cameron
R: Jacobs Sloane Douglas
I: M.Crouch Lyons B.Crouch
Sub: McKay

Bringing him in severely underdone and having him get injured.

Like what already happened this year.
This. He spent the preseason injured, then injured himself again and returned just this week. Needs more time. We can not afford to be rushing this guy. He's not going to win us games in his current state. We need to take every possible measure to ensure he's good to go before we play him. He's already got a concerning history of leg injuries. Please don't take any risks.

brad crouch will play in the sanfl next week.

In; M.crouch, Wright
out; Ellis-Yolmen, Martin

Out
- Truck, rested 6 day break
- Martin, simply not the type of player that will take us up the ladder
- CEY, we have more talented players in the sanfl side

in
- Hartigan, needs to play games at sanfl level
- M Crouch, is key part of our future
- Grigg, we need players that make good decisions and execute under pressure

Lucky to survive
JJ, really poor today however gets a reprieve due to previous good performances
Matty J, slowly running out of credits
JPod, should be dropped but it won't happen tux week

Crows got to bring that same intensity they had against Collingwood and they will win. Season on the line.

OUT: Martin, Jaensch, CEY, Lyons

IN: M Crouch, Reilly, Wright, Grigg.

But that's only if Jaensch is injured or concussed. Did he get a hard knock? Otherwise Jaensch stays in.

Martin has been given a good enough crack. Not up to it.

Same for Lyons. He can't keep the Crouch boys out.

CEY the victim of Sando's sub of doom.

Sando will bring in Reilly after his performance in the sanfl.

Grigg to bring in his left foot.

Wright to come back in to piss off the haters on this board. Does more than most (blind) people know.

M Crouch should never have been dropped.

Sando will bring in Radar this week

Nothing like a milestone match to rely on to get the boys up

Going off Sando press conference, I would say and agree B Crouch is 90% not playing AFL this week.

In: M.Crouch, Wright
Out: Martin, CEY

If only Smack offered something or anything, I would drop Pods and see how Tex, JJ, Smack went up forward, I would then let Mckernan play second ruck to help Sauce and leave JJ to kick goals, But sadly Smack isn't showing much.

Also I would almost bet Reilly in for maybe MJ.

Absolutely. I see it as a waste of one position. We have Brown, Laird and Jaensch , playing for two spots. (Also add in MacKay at times off half back). Jaensch is the best offensively, due to Brown and Laird having zero attacking flair, Jaensch must play. So, that leaves one spot for either Laird or Brown as I see it. I see Laird being ahead of Brown. I would really love to see Brown attack! Out run his opponent for the ball, dash away and spot up a target.. but he doesn't.
