this might seem odd, but it seemed that essendon controlled more of the game than we did today. Our class? kept us in it through the whole day and our class? was what got us the draw in the end.

The only parts of the game that the Bombres controlled was through our inexplicable lapses. We were much more influential when we had the ball, but our entires into the F50 were pretty bad at times and let them rebound pretty easily.

We had 8 more kicks, 24 more handballs,1 more mark,3 less tackles and 3 more hitouts, all in all i think it was even.

We made the Bombers look like Adelaide in most of the passages of todays game. You should all be dirty on the Blues. Not happy at all.

Definately not our best footy on display. Soo many times we made stupid errors that cost us the win. I thought we were the better team going forward but you can't make that many errors and expect to win. A draw was probably the fitting result because both teams were so appalling. I have to admit it was good seeing the team we were playing crumple under pressure at the end instead of us!

Class is good skill level. Unfortunatelly both teams dont have this.

They didn't.

I felt we had control, only we couldn't kick to save our lives. Especially in the 3rd quarter with horrible misses. Realistically we should've won by around 4 - 7 goals but we're not good enough.

it seemed carlton had controll of the match for the first 10 - 15 minutes although could no capitalise on their chances , can we get up stats for foward 50 entrys because it seemed everytime the ball went into carltons foward it just came straight out
