No you pick up little packs. Turn them on and you get that perk for x seconds.

Like run faster, hear better, see loot in the area.

Only real problem I'm noticing in Blackout is freeze frames. Seems to happen in squads the most, but I'll often have little periods in games while playing duos where the screen will freeze and lag for a second or two. I am an Xbox peasant though so maybe it's better on more powerful hardware.

The game itself is great. Blackout is a hell of a lot of fun, though I think the armour is still a little too overpowered. Played a few games of multiplayer and it seems good enough. The spawns are horrific though - I've seen countless vids of people spawning within someone else's field of view. Really not sure about the new spawning system they've brought in; needs a fix.

Anyone else having server issues that cause weird glitches in online multiplayer? Glitches ranging from the reticle on the firearm not appearing, to all kinds of textures not loading at the beginning of a match, resulting in heaps of see-through walls and other objects. This is totally fukked. I never had this problem with BO3 or any other COD game. I dont have NBN connection though (stuck with ADSL2 for the time being) which may have something to do with it.

He might be talking about players getting credited with a kill when they cause damage to an opponent before a teammate finishes them off (in previous CODs you would score +50 points for doing this but you wouldn't be credited with a kill).

Or the way the scores are no longer automatically displayed at the end of a match (now you have to manually scroll across to it from the menu after the match).

I like the game when it actually works. Too bad it's unplayable most of the time because of the server issues and glitches. I payed $150 for a broken product that doesn't even work most of the time. LMAO

See post #210. The disappearing reticle thing is quite common apparently. I spoke to people while they are streaming BLOPS4 in the chat and they said it happens to them. I'm not sure if it's just an Xbox thing, as I haven't seen any playstation users complain of this yet.

3 times last night I spawn with a trip mine within two-three steps directly in front of me.
Might as well spawn me on a cooked nade

Played it at a mates house. Massive cod fanboi. Even he's saying he regrets buying it. Spawns are a joke. Def not buying it.
Blackout seemed ok though. Hope it becomes free to play if they wanna compete with fortnite. Maybe after christmas I hope when most people who would buy the game would have already bought it.
Not holding my breath tho.

Played two of the maps once each to get the feel of it so haven't put too much time into it yet but so far it feels the same as previous blops zombies.

From what little I've played, I don't like it. Zombies is like a totally different game to the rest of COD. It seems like it would be a simple concept, running around a map shooting zombies. But it's not anymore - it's so convoluted and complicated now, with all the special abilities and items, elixirs and so forth, and all the menus and sub menus you have to use. It's like a full on first person RPG. Shit is wayyy too complicated now, it would turn off many casual gamers. This shit now appeals to hardcore nerds who actually have the time to play this for countless hours, I mean you have to spend a significant portion of time learning how to play this game now. Total f*k up.

IMO, COD zombies should actually be sold as a separate game. As should Blackout. I like traditional COD multiplayer, but I don't like Blackout and I don't like Zombies. Having to pay $150 for BLOPS4 (which is really 3 games in 1) just to play the old school multiplayer is an absolute disgrace.
