If ever the Coalition of the Willing need a new spokesperson on Iraq, my god is Cuddles the man for it. Considering all the crap that has been bandied about around him over the last 7 days, the man was a pillar of strength. Churchillian in fact.
Won't save him though.
He's gone, but he'll be a star at Ch 7, Foxtel or Ch 10.
BTW I'm picking the Shockers this week !!!

I'm starting to really feel bad for CC now. He is clearly a dead man walking. People like me are hoping that he will do the honourable thing and step aside now. But you've got to feel for the bloke. He's bled purple for six years now, and look where it's got him.

One of the things that ticks me off about these prats on the radio - especially that bloke who lives in Melbourne and George - is that they aren't on the train as I am and others on the way to the game and back, they don't queue with the rest of the plebs for the overpriced beer, they don't chat in the pub, they don't as I type - unbelievable!), ANYWAY, they would have no idea what the punters really think because they're not among the punters, whether it's about the board, coaches or players.

They make sweeping statements, "well the supporters now definately feel..." crap.

For CC or against CC, Pro board or anti, these radio guys are not down amongst the real world an have no idea - THEY DON'T SPEAK FOR ME.

At least CC has always been positive for the club, go or stay, but these people have been whining about him for six years.

If what we all expect happens if we loose this weekend and the following week is his final game, or whenver it happens to be i really hope the Subiaco crowd show him how much he has done for the club. He has done more for the FFC than anyone else, and i mean anyone. Pavlich, Modra, Schwab, Allan etc. None have done as much for the club as CC has.
I still want him gone but i hope his contribtuion is recognised properly and he is given a decent send off.

I can tell you that he was one of the players that helped put Freo on the map outside of WA. Eastern staters and South Australians could recognise and identify with a big name flashy player and he wore purple. It was a profile plus regardless of what it meant to performance on the field.

Although I'm not as 100% certain he should go mid-season, spot on in every other respect.

The trouble is if (and that is an If remember) the Dockers lose against Geelong in a home game, well the fans are going to be irate anyway - it certainly isn't going to be the love fest that was Danaher's send off was. Just look how rabid some of the so called fans were after the Roos loss on CH10.

Here Here! most sensible statement i have heard on this site for a while, the other thing i am sick of is the Wedia, the west coast eagles media, stirring up trouble, saying pavlich is going here, connoly is going there, this player is unhappy with the board, this player wants to do this or that. the fact is the media is filled with idiots, who have an agenda in destabalising the club and im sick of it. the news paper columnist intials KH is the worst, and that idiot on channel 7 BZ is next in line. they wont recognise any of the positives, they just want to see us down and the drug addicted criminals up the road on top. makes me sick!

CC has in reality done a great job for the Fremantle football club, it will be sad to see him go as i always saw him as our Sheedy. I just wonder how many membership neebies of 2006& 2007 will butter up in 2008??
