Imagine this happening at the pointy end of the season, where player test positive then a couple of negatives and to make it worse DHHS finds say half dozen players to isolate. Could be bloody costly or worse if a final.

So according to the AFL app. They are saying that McKenna definitely had COVID now, due to retesting both samples and testing found he has Covid-19 antibodies as well. So he and Stewart will still need to self isolate.

Not really. Given where it seemed to be headed, 2 players in isolation is a best case scenario for the league & the testing discrepancies seem to be par for the course with this disease.
The antibody test would be a blood test. Good to get some clarity. Sounds like he had an extremely mild case.
Did i read somewhere that the AFLPA are trying not to get Connor suspended?

Aren't people allowed out after they test negative?
I think the reasoning is that he didn't have it when the test said he did.......either it had been in his system previously, or it was purely a false positive. Either way, a bunch of negative tests afterwards has significant bearing.
