Bullshit.

You are trying to find negatives where there is none. Your players were actually suspended - and your reasoning was that they weren't positives - well you owe us an apology and your club should have another match cancelled!

It's funny when shit turns around back on your face isn't it! Better think about that the next time your run your mouth so early.

I have no idea what you are talking about and I suspect you don't either.

It has always seemed highly implausible to me that he could have picked it up in Victoria. Leaving the other options as Ireland and taking a month to appear, or a dodgy test. I suspect the latter is far more common than the authorities want people to believe.

Yes, it makes you wonder how many of these tests are false positives. 18,000 were tested in Melbourne yesterday, how many might be dodgy?

pretty sure they did and these are the results. i think the whole team was retested
not sure if it can be fast-tracked but when my mate was tested on a monday he got the result thurs.

I've seen tests done in 1 hour. His saturday test was done and he got the results back the same morning.

No test is 100% accurate. There will always be false negatives and positives. The covid PCR testing gives more false negatives than false positives, but the health authorities are aware of this. In real life conditions, the false negative rate can be up to a fifth of actually infected patients.

The rule is a grey area which can cause confusion, as it mentions open inspections as being allowed if the person is looking to purchase a home - but in Conor's case that would make no sense as he isn't planning to stay here and must have somewhere to live. It's a farce.
Just because he would have got an exemption, doesn't mean he doesn't need to ask for one.

To interpret negative and positive results anyway, you should have information on the background levels of illness in the community. See e.g. https://www.labtestsonline.org.au/l...ions/covid-19/how-accurate-are-covid-19-tests

In the general population in Australia or New Zealand you are very unlikely to be infected, so a negative test result is very likely the correct result and you should be reassured you don’t have COVID-19. If a person returns from New York by plane and two days later develops symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they are much more likely to be infected. A positive result will make it almost certain they are infected but a negative result does not rule it out, it could be a false negative, and isolation with repeat testing on another sample should be considered.

WHAT?

No he didn't. There is no law against looking for a place to live if you're from overseas (duh) and he is allowed to visit family.

What about the two Melbourne players?! They weren't positives either but were actually SUSPENDED because of legit breaches but a Melb game wasn't cancelled and had their name and supporters dragged through the mud!

WHAT A FARCE! You cannot even admit when you messed up.

We’ll see what the AFL rules.

Melbourne players did mess up and rightly were suspended.
