Would be pretty disastrous if Scharenberg only signed a 1 year extension IMO. Guess we'll wait and see.

Pretty happy to see Buckley get rewarded but doesn't his contract run out next year? I'm one for patience in contract negotiations when it comes to coaches.

I just want to see him play a couple this year, then most of next year. If his injuries prevent that (I don't believe they will), then nothing lost, if he decides to go home, then his trade value will rise, if he decides to stay then offer him 4 more years!

I look at it the other way.

The club may as well show confidence in him now because with what he has done so far in re-building this team (even if we do have a dip next year) they're not going to sack him. He needs up to end of 2017 to bare the full fruits of his work.

Personally I have absolute confidence that given the time, and a bit of luck with injuries he will deliver the Cup eventually.
