The WA border is open one way at the moment, so you can bring them in, but not send them back without issues.

We've been told that will change by the time we do our first event in two weeks.

Victoria has racked up 21 cases today.

Of these 15 are returned travelers.

A few days back one of our number was arguing for the lifting of international border restrictions. Those 15 positive cases provide conclusive evidence as to why Australia cannot open it's international borders anytime soon.

Do South Australians travelling to WA, Tas or ACT still have to quarantine on their return?

As I understand it entering SA from those States and Territories is not a problem. The problem is as things stand you will need to quarantine when you arrive in WA, Tas or ACT as they have not opened their borders to travelers from SA. This may very quickly change of course.

We are waiting on Tas, WA, NT Governments to reciprocate.

How many people are travelling while sick?

I reckon anyone overseas with symptoms would be stupid not to get back to OZ where the health system is not overloaded. For that reason I think quite a few people would be traveling with symptoms. The airlines tell us the virus is not transmitted in flight but I doubt that and I think some healthy people are infected on the flight.

Are all the international flights coming into Melbourne these days because Sydney and Brisbane do not seem to be getting any quarantine cases.

Maybe Melbourne has more 5G towers? ;)

Word is that SA/QLD border may be opened as early as tomorrow meaning we will be able to fly in, fly out for our “hub” games and won’t be required to stay up there for any extended period of time.

Both ways no quarantine?? We have a FNQ holiday booked mid July so not sure if we will be able to go or not.

No, but at this stage SA travellers have to quarantine in those jurisdictions first for 14 days before doing other stuff.

Curious as to why, a week or so ago, the fencing and 24/7 Police guard went back up at the Pullman Hotel corner of Hindmarsh Square.

Did another large batch of quaranteeners land, that we havent heard about?
Wasn't that where AFL umpires and officials and 7's broadcast employees quarantined?
