Problem is the health services all over Australia been running on fumes for ages
WA without COVID cases been struggling
NSW struggling with COVID cases although Gladys keeps diverting attention away..

Hospitals so cut back anyway with staff that they struggle just through peaks
If those peaks go for weeks or months it will break

I am sick of lockdown although not sure how long it will take to over run the health system.
Health is a no win the more your spend the more you spend.
Building new roads or spending millions on something else you can get a picture from gets you elected.

I know a few medical people burnt out and left.

It will, but not for a couple of years at least. Until then we’re dealing with a disease that puts many people in hospital, a whole bunch of those in ICU, and a whole bunch of them in the ground. And there’s nothing worse than being dead is there.
Pandemics are short but societies will endure. Exit strategy for a pandemic should be that we don't end up with a poorer society than when it started. We have broken a ton of things that will take a long time to fix, if they can be fixed at all.

So I don't hate McGowan.
I don't like any of the Premiers because I don't think good people end up in those jobs.

McGowan isn't talking to us he's talking to you. He's selling the WA chip in the shoulder about the East coast.

He's also bought into the giving advice publicly to other states crap that Berejiklian and Andrew's both love doing which is wedge politics.

Basically all the Premiers and the Prime Minister are Stoking parochialism for their own benefit.
And the biggest losers of this bullshit * you parochialism are fellow state residents,
particularly those who can't get back into or into the state for far more needy reasons than a multi millionaire, FTA TV star and the famous sports talented.

There are many physical and mental health problems people are facing at present.

I wish people understand that whilst they defend the refusal of a patient to be escorted to a hospital across the border because they need life saving surgery.

Business owners vowing to ignore the New South Wales government’s push to require people to be fully vaccinated to enter shops, bars or restaurants are unlikely to find the law on their side, an expert says.

On Wednesday, the NSW premier, Gladys Berejiklian, reaffirmed her commitment to the double-dose vaccination requirement in the government’s reopening roadmap.

“At 70%, if you’re not vaccinated, it will be a health order and the law that if you’re not vaccinated, you can’t attend venues on the roadmap,” the premier said. “You can’t go into a hospitality venue. You can’t go to ticketed events unless you are vaccinated. We made that very clear.”

warning vaccine-hesitant residents they will not be able to “let everybody else do the hard work and then turn up” for equal freedoms.

I think it 55 g fine if they let them in

Dont know what the fine is for a refusnik who kicks up a stink ???

ok for the bigs shops who employee someone to stand out front
Small one person shop serving one customer then 3-4 walk in.
or small cafe's one person serving and one making coffees.

There be a lot of Karens and Antivaxers just looking for trouble as well

Not saying I do not want some carrot as I am double vaxed
You do have to feel for the small retailers.
A lot of people are self important pricks that was before COVID
People love to talk down to people in retail. Like they are better then them.

Basically governments are making vaccination mandatory by stealth.

It is a huge problem that so much of what our governments have done in the name of Covid is actually legal. Our lack of human rights protection or balances against governments abusing their emergency powers is not something to be celebrated.

And yeah I'm not saying some of the protestors in Melbourne didn't want a fight either, they did.

But if the cops had just let them go down Bourke St and take their photos and not sent in the riot squad that would have been much better for both our emergency departments and not fueling the recruitment drives of these groups

Spare me. I understand the sentiment of protestors but there are other ways of getting your point across then organising a rally of a few thousands protestors when the rest of us are locked down and unable to go anywhere.

It's idiotic in the extreme and anyone who isn't within their 5k radius without a valid reason should absolutely be dealt with by the long hand of the law. Those that are deliberately inciting and coordinating these bullshit protests in defiance of health orders probably should have charges brought against them. Let's be honest many of these clowns are itching to resist an arrest and no wonder fights break out. That's on the protestors though, not the police.

Let them do as they please and next time we have 10000 protestors instead of a few thousand protestors. That event will be then used to justify another lockdown extension by Dictator Dan and we all suffer.

Like I said I get the sentiment of the protestors, this lockdown has been handled diabolically by Andrews & co. The reality is protests do absolutely nothing to get a point across or get us any closer to freedom.

Am I wrong in saying that there was a large collection of doctors as part of the AMA that wanted to petition Daniel Andrews against lockdowns?

FMD... every angle every where in this shitheap world has inconsistencies.

Can we start speculating on what Daniel is going to announce on sunday?

What a pathetic load of sh*t.

The AMA wants us to wait until 80% double dose THEN wait 2 weeks THEN reassess. I’m convinced some of these medical professionals want us locked down forever.

Vic 4370 active cases 173 in hospital 4%
NSW 14,358 active case and 1241 in hospital 9%
they are the ones who end up working double shifts to keep people alive
you can understand where they coming from

Everyone wants what is best for them
Do I want things open to me as I am double vaxed now.. * yeah
Super freaking over this COVID crap.. lockdown 6.0 pretty much stuffed most I know in Vic.

They are the AMA, not Australian Covid Association, and have totally lost focus on the negative medical impacts of lockdowns.
