Geez, Kane and KDB are looking a bit portly.

Preparing for their new kit launch?

And this thread is 124 pages? * me.

Guys.... what will be, will be.
Manchester City players could play 13 games in 49 days. Their chances of injury goes up 25% according to a research group which specialises in injury risk forecasting. moomba

Bundesliga have already experienced a higher than average injury rate since the competition resumed.

Lots of players will be in preservation mode for next season you’d think.
well to be fair city have * all to play for in the league. Can be easily managed.

You know for a fact that United supporters are not taking the news well? It gives our club the opportunity to quality for the CL next season through the league if the EL doesn’t also return. If the EL does return, added bonus. If the season wasn’t stopped, Liverpool would have won the league in early April and everyone would have moved on in April. You will find that the way fanbases work is they just move on, no one will stop posting on here or be in a fit of rage about it as you’re probably imagining.

Not from where I am sitting, a certain MUFC poster here citing tweets that shines a bad light on Liverpool's fan base (for example)

Maybe you are not one of them, but i can assure you thousands of Utd fans are pretty salty that Liverpool will be equalling your domestic league title record (the ones calling it an asterisk for example are the type of fans i dare say are offended)

I wouldn't count on Man Utd qualifying for the champions league either, just quietly.

Bojan is taking the piss and doing it well.

Reckon they will. Martial and Rashford being fed the ball by Pogba, and Bruno. Quality.

Interesting to see who has kept fit and who hasn't during the lockdown. This is surpising:

Credit to him I guess, better figures coming out of lockdown than before it.
Its his first pre-season block as a PL player. Reckon he has upped his game stepping up in leagues as is generally the case when a player sees how much tougher the PL is physically than they are used to

Oh Dear, the Man Ure fans here have not taken well to the news that the season is resuming and Liverpool will get their just desserts as Champions.

You would think The Scousera created the COVID19 themselves, judging by some of the commenrs in the past two pages.

Anyone congrats to all the Stalwart LFC fans and do not go shy on the celebrations here once you clinch your record equalling Champions of England Trophy !!!

I’m a United fan and congrats to Liverpool but with the way the world is right now couldn’t give two shits about football/soccer

Meanwhile in Spain Hazard hasn't been able to stop himself going to the pantry:

Looks like keeping fit during lockdown might just be the ultimate test of professionalism.

Just a heads up, Liverpool aren’t equaling our 20 league titles.

Not disputing the quality of those players, but a couple of them (esp Pogba) can be a bit erratic (from a mental mindset point of view) and we all know Ole is bit of a mixed bag as Gaffer among the United fanbase (although as an outside observer whom admitttedly had a lifelong hatred of MUFC, i think he is doing a reasonably good job rebuilding the club)

I guess given Chelsea's current issues esp with Kante, one could reasonably expect Man U to leapfrog them.

And just on UnitedWarrior93's post, I understand his feelings, but for me, I think the return of football is a welcome and emotional distraction with all the crap and misery in the world going on (esp with that disgraceful death of George Floyd in the US)

BTW if Leeds fail to win promotion from the Championship, I am more than happy for fans esp MUFC ones to give me some stick/banter in return, I have been bit of a pain in the ass in the past few months :)

Our issues were that a fair chunk of our squad were injured, but now they are all fit again.

We've probably benefited more than any other team with the shutdown.

Not saying we will make top 4 but we have ultimately benefited more than any other team. All of Kane, Sissoko, Son and Bergwijn were out for the season and we didn't look like winning another game. All 4 now back and only Kane would be of a higher risk than every other player playing every 3-4 days as his was the only soft tissue injury.
