You dont kick a guy when he's down

cousins was always going to be a risk on several levels. it was part of the deal.
Just out of interest. Can I see your predictor device? I'd love to know how much the premier (whichever team it is) will win by (whatsoever that number be). I assume by the tenor of your comment that you are over this issue and with your knowledge (given by predictor device or sheer brilliance) I can thus be rich after the last Saturday in September by virtue of the bet I will make presently on your infallible advice (with your money of course, because you're over the issue).

Never good for a bloke to get injured but this does make me feel good for us not picking him up. Did shit all before it as well.
Hopefully he makes it back though.

Not pathetic. A risk, but not pathetic. If he'd ripped them apart, which he still may do, then you'd be silent or on the Cuz bandwagon. I do think that if your statements are correct then the Richmond medical staff stuffed up in letting him play with a tweaked hamstring. But medical staff playing a potentially injured player is not the same thing as recruiting a player based on what they believe is his upside, all things going well....Perhaps your brush is a bit wide for what you want to paint?Richmong are a joke of an organisation.
Tell me how this is logical;
- Player is over 30 years old.
- Player hasn't played a game of footy for 18 months.
- Player has a history of hamstring injuries.
- Player feels his hamstring tweaking in the third quarter.
- Medical staff give him a rubdown.
- Team is 10+ goals down.
- Coach sends said player back on.
That is ****ing pathetic.
Oh, so the clubs know? What a load of shite. The clubs make decisions based on possibilites. They weight them up and then make a decision. None of which means their decisions are good or bad, just that they've minimized the risks. So go bite yourself with your claims of knowledge. You claimed to know something, now you appeal to self-serving (as they should be) clubs to support you weak claims. Good one.Look kid..i know you are struggling ..but it's not up to me to educate you on footy matters ..perhaps i can redirect you to the clubs who passed up on drafting Cousins ..maybe they can help you gain a fragment of knowledge as to why this was inevitable.
SEN 1116 just reported that Ben Cousins has done his hamstring 6 times in his last 12 games he played. Ouch

Once again SEN are wrong.
Before the Port game when he did his hamstring he had missed one game in his last 26. (Not including his suspension obviously)

So was I the only one who laughed uncontrollably when it happened![]()

Agreed. I thought you were implying not only was it illogical to risk Cuz' hamstring, but also because of this situation (sore hammy at 3 quarter time or given history of hamstrings) it was illogical to even recruit Cuz. After all, recruiting is just a guess. Richmond took Tambling and Hawthorn got Buddy love. It could as easily been the other way.Its not logical to risk anyones hamstring in those circumstances. Let alone Cousins hamstring.

Nice tipping by the way ..you sir really know your stuff .![]()
I have no sympathy for the Richmond supporters who have been talking Cuz up as if he was the second coming of Christ over the summer. It was always a very big risk and it is not as if he has treated his body well over the years. Richmond are a very ordinary team and Terry Wallace has failed miserably.
OK, I'm up for a bit of fun, and will try to read.....Work on your reading comprehension skills.
I have no problems with them recruiting Cousins, it was definitely worth the risk. I love the bloke.
All of the points I made relate specifically to this one game, and all are spot on, in relation to this one game.
He tweaked his hammy late in the third. lrn2read.
Absolute disgrace.
