The tradition I was referring to is Crows opening with a home game. That’s the only one that counts.

It would have been a perfect opportunity to give a non-Vic game a Friday night slot, given the Wednesday and Thursday games at the G.

Yeah the top 3 games of the round are the GF rematch, Lions v Port and the Sydney derby. Collingwood v St Kilda is the 9th most interesting.

That’s a fox game though. I’d rather watch Hawthorn v North than the St Kilda v Collingwood game.

Check out the women's fixture. It's almost exclusively Victorian teams playing Friday/Saturday then the rest play on Sundays.

I'm so sick of the VFL. Honestly. We have one of the World's great sports, but my love for it is constantly reduced by the blatant cheating and favouritism dished out by the VFL in favour of Victorian teams.

I wish some of the interstate clubs CEO's come out and say something about the obvious Vic bias round 1 has in regards to television broadcast. There is absolutely no reason to have all Vic clubs in all the prime time spots in a national competition

They won't do that. Victorian audiences generate the most money for the competition, and it has been starved of it's usual revenue in the last two years.
