Now it would appear that Stenglein will have to prove his fitness on friday if he is to play against Port at Kadina.

Both Reilly and Stinger will have to prove their fitness. If they are not 100% I would rest them.

Absolutely nothing to be gained by playing them (still don't understand why Burton and Roo were played against St Kilda), and an opportunity to give some fringe players another opportunity.
Still we are accumulating a few injuries at the moment.

Yeah, thats a bit of a worry. we seem to be getting all these injuries. I just hope we don't get as many injuries in the first half of the year as we did in 2003 as it could mean that our season could be over by mid-season break.

Just heard on 5AA that Carey won't be playing against Port on the weekend - no details given.

Time to really experiment with Perrie at CHF and Burton at FF IMO.

I read on the main board that Watts has OP. Has anyone heard anything about this?????? If it is OP, its a major setback for the bloke which would again raise a question are we working these youngsters too hard??????

Haven't heard that Stiffy - reckon the guy just got his injuries wrong.

I hope so because I reckon thats just about th elast thing we need.

We need Watts to develop in SANFL this year and come in and play some good footy in 2005 when Carey retires. If he misses some of the 2004 season with OP, it will hamper his deveopment a fair bit.
