What stones?
I personally don't have a problem with resources re umpiring etc going towards the higher grades as they prop up the lower ones in other ways.
My comment was more to point out that those with limited time who have to prioritize as they can't attend every event.
Personally didn't attend as I have no grievances to raise.
Limited time!!!!!!!!! Give me a break. One meeting in the off season other than the VAFA AGM! Surely someone could have got there or sent in a submission response to West Brunswick letter. So you had the time but no grievances - terrific leadership. What about the issue of rotating senior A/B umpires through the lower 4 grades on a rolling weekly basis - happy with all umpires getting a "one off" double pay day" which cost the clubs approx. $25k - new points ideas instead of fines [you won't know about this one] etc.
It is no wonder the lower division clubs don't get a look in with your attitude - "Not seen and not heard!" Bet you [+2] went to the season launch where there was nothing to be gained. Lower division clubs need to take the extra step and be present at every opportunity. That is what being a true volunteer president is all about.
