He raises too many red flags for my liking.
I think that was my fault Fivey, was trying to get some more info in the WAFL thread about Pickett from the Swans supporters and Masto took exception to it being asked in there.
Ahah, thanks for that. That's solved the mystery.
Turns out all I said was that, in relation to a suggestion by someone that no-one would get drafted without having played a full season of WAFL, that our recruiters have been generally criticised for not rookie-drafting Lewis Jetta in the same circumstances.
I can sleep easy now.
I wouldn't know because they got deleted for no reason.
The post where someone asked about Pickett, the post where you said that no-one would be drafted without playing a season of WAFL, and my post about Jetta have not been deleted.
Your temper tantrum at the thread not being moderated in the way you desired, where you posted game stats of random WAFL players to attempt to prove some sort of point, were indeed deleted.
There was no tantrum. Put the posts back so people can see for themselves.
Which ones?
Are you sure you want me to?
Five Strings you still have answered this question.
I was being flippant. I thought that would have been obvious.
The sole red flag that McDonald raises is the one kane identified - the danger that he would seek a trade back to the family club after his initial contract. Call it the Ebert flag.
Otherwise I think he'd be an ideal midfielder for us. I've said that elsewhere.
Any player could ask for a trade. Are the recruiters meant to be psychic? LOL
Apparently they are.
I'm going to allow it.
Carry on everyone.
Sure no problem.
Joel Brown of West Perth has 10 possessions on the weekend.
Nick Kane got 8 possessions for East Perth.
Robert Young had 8 possessions for East Fremantle.
Brock Higgins also had a fine game.
Shall I keep going?
That doesn't mean you should be a smartarse about it.
Given that we've had regular discussion in this thread about draft prospects and the general performance of WAFL teams, there's no reason to change that this close to the end of the season.
Next year we might have a thread dedicated solely to how our players perform in the reserves (particularly given that they'll all be in one team) and another thread for more general WAFL talk.
End of.
Why is his off-topic posting allowed but mine not? At least the players I mentioned have some kind of WAFL form.
So please stop deleting my posts that discuss WAFL players. This is the appropriate thread, you just said so!
What do people think of Callum Hart? A chance to be drafted?
Listing random WAFL players' stats for the weekend is not appropriate posting, it is being a smartarse.
I've made a call on the issue you've raised. If you have a particular issue with posts from this point on then report them, rather than deciding to moderate the thread yourself.
Can we move on now?
You posted it in the wrong thread and you didn't post the whole conversation. You truly are a terrible mod![]()
I have undeleted every post that was part of that conversation and posted them verbatim. Click the links, go to that thread and see for yourself.
You missed the whole point of the conversation and why we are even talking about it at all - Marlon Pickett.
You asked me to undelete all the posts in order to prove you didn't have a temper tantrum.
The Pickett conversation is still there, none of that was ever deleted.
