I love the look of Bonner but he is in a similar position to Seed, Hampton, Smith, Hendo. I don't see a need unless he or the others move up the field.
Drafting Wigg and Bonner would give us elite foot skills out of defence in the same way as Hawthorn has built its team. Add that to the 4 above and turnovers in dangerous spots looks less likely.

ADELAIDEPick 9: Aaron Francis was touted as a top-three pick earlier this season but that seems unlikely now. There is a slight chance he gets through to the Crows' first pick at No.9, which would be a good result for the club given he is a South Australian. Francis can play all over the ground but is best suited to a third tall defensive role.

How closely have you watched Bonner??

He's a defender that doesn't defend, plays wide of his opponent and that is not an option in the AFL and really need someone to feed him the ball, no doubt he looks classy with ball in hand and is very attacking and damaging by foot when in the clear but at AFL level would need to improve his defensive skills markedly IMO??

she thinks burton will be one we look at. Francis wont slip, have to remember pick 9 is essentially pick 13 and 13 is like 17 when you take into account the academy players.

wouldn't it be closer to 9 becomes 12, and 13 becomes 15 as gws have pick 10?

Can't argue that point .....very critical as it's the Dangerfield pick ....that pick will be remembered and talked about in the Dangerfield trade ....yep BEST available

I would play him as an intercept mark half back like Easton Wood. He's also an elite kick and moves pretty well. Francis & Smith across half back. I feel we need another defender with decent height who can also use it well. Seedsman can also play that role or play on wing. Francis would take more intercept marks and help out aerially more than the Seed.

Trade back Sam Durdin as our 3rd KPD next year. He is almost 200cm so can take the Daniher, Dixon types. Francis won't last til 9 so I'd hope for midfield class (Milera) and KPF (McKay) if we can. Roos love trades
