Can just about confirm that Essendon will sign Irish Cat B rookie.
However I don't believe it is not McDaid.
I believe it will be Stefan Okanbor.
If we get a pick in the 30's surely Callum Coleman - Jones comes into consideration?
Not too many ruckmen/forwards left after that who suits our needs?
Tim Kelly from the WAFL is your manGiven we'll likely have late picks only in a pretty weak draft are there any inside mids in the state leagues worth looking at? Someone who gets clearance after clearance but has some other limitations (height, kicking etc) that has meant they have been overlooked in the past. It's a huge hole in our list.
Same person, I think....a tall indigenous kid whose dad was posting on Bomber Blitz. There is something floating around about a 2m cricketer too.

Hind finished equal 3rd in the yo-yo? Recorded a 22.1 or something IIRCBoth Nick Hind and Alex Boyse dominated the state combines
Both topped the 20m sprint with Hind 2.92 and Boyse 2.98
Both came top 10 in the ability with Hind 8.36 and Boyse 8.52
Boyse was 2nd in the Standing Vertical Jump with 79cm
Both Boyse and Hind came top 10 in the Running Vertical Jump Boyse with 84.
Neither performed well in the Yo-Yo test.
Seb Williams the big winner out of TAC the young Sandringham midfielder/forward came 6th in the 20m sprint, 7th in standing vertical, 10th in running vertical and 3rd in the Yo-Yo test. On the small side but would be a worthy draftee.
Don't see him listed for top 10 in thatHind finished equal 3rd in the yo-yo? Recorded a 22.1 or something IIRC
got an approximate range you're expecting either of them to go?Both Nick Hind and Alex Boyse dominated the state combines

No idea, earliest would be around 40 I reckon, Boyse a better chance to go in the main draft.got an approximate range you're expecting either of them to go?
http://vfl.com.au/state-combine-results/Don't see him listed for top 10 in that
That's only counting the VFL players, overall he didn't get top 10. Still did well though
Are you counting all of the combines? That makes sense then. That's only counting the VFL players, overall he didn't get top 10. Still did well though
Just the state combine 10th was 21.1 so he was closeAre you counting all of the combines? That makes sense then.
Petruccelle is far from proven as a mid, not confident he becomes one at the next level. Plenty of bigger mids like Worpel, Starcevich, Mynott will be available. Im not confident we will keep 24 and 29 but you never know one of those 2 guys could slide to our 3rd round pick. Now sitting with pick 24 and 29 and could be keeping both depending on what Saad and Stringer cost us. (Might both be future picks)
What do you think of grabbing a pair like Jack Petruccelle and Zac Bailey to try and shore up our inside midfield brigade D_P_S?
