Another rain impacted match and the Dragons were slow out of the blocks and trailed by 19 points at the first break.
More competitive in the second and third quarters saw the margin cut to less than a goal but the Bombers were able
to break away in the last quarter to run out winners by 5 goals.

A pretty down day for most of the Dragons but the followers were highly competitive, serial_thrilla was our leading kick
getter , Strigoi had a strong day in the ruck and A Swallow again racked up the tackles with 8. Matt_352 had some
quality possessions and VandoHawk and Hatchy1992 were busy.

A second , albeit quieter , match thread against the Bombers but the Dragons still managed 17 posters in the match thread while the Bombers
could only muster 14. serial_thrilla led the thread total with 190 posts while A Swallow bought up the three figures and Strigoi and T2B_
had strong weeks as well.

A big match this week against the Hawks with a win guaranteeing the Dragons will play finals in season 30.

Good win Dragons! Nice to come away with a solid victory, we started a bit slowly but took control of the contest in the second term to eventually come away with a pretty good win in the end.

Some good games by a number of players this week with serial_thrilla, Strigoi, Matt_352 and T2B_ putting in great performances in the midfield while Hatchy1992, Knifey Spoony and Ashman OG kept the scoreboard ticking up forward. Special mention to Pie 4 Life for another solid performance at Full Back as well to marshall the defence.

A good win by the team this week, next week is huge so we'll need to be at our best in what is another home game!!

Accuracy was the key for the Dragons this week kicking an incredible 15.3 in the rain to run out winners by 32
points against the East Side Hawks. Hatchy1992 was the sharp shooter with an impressive 4.1 and Knifey Spoony
kicked three straight and Ashman OG chimed in with 3.1 .

Matt_352 and serial_thrilla again were the leading kick getters while Strigoi T2B_ had quality games and Blaze Storm
warmed up for the finals with a couple of goals. VandoHawk and A Swallow were also in good touch.

A great effort by the 18 Dragons posters who made it to the match thread against the East Side Hawks. Unfortunately we couldnt quite keep up
with the Hawks (Chipmunk and PMBangers never shut up!) but serial_thrilla T2B_ and MC Bad Genius did a great job against the
Hawk surge.

Last match of the home and away season coming up and a win coupled with a Gumbies loss will see the Dragons nab a top 4 spot.

Bad luck Dragons. We started really well but the Roys chipped away at us for the next three quarters and were were perhaps a bit fortunate to be as close as we were come the final siren.

I thought serial_thrilla had a great game in the midfield today, Strigoi again did her best in the ruck with A Swallow, Matt_352 and AceAndy also playing fairly solid games. Nice to see Ashman OG and Stoods amongst the goals again today with five or four goals respectively.

Not the result we were after but it was a fairly encouraging effort against a top four team despite the result. Time to head into the finals now and come out firing in our first week match-up!!

The last match of the home and away season against the Roys and a great effort by the 18 Dragons who posted in the match thread.

Strigoi warmed up for the finals with an impressive 120 posts to be the Dragons best poster for the week. T2B_ serial_thrilla and Stoods
were all in fine posting form. The Dragons had 16 posters who participated in each match thread in the season, a great improvement from
last season.

First finals match against the Bombers this week so lets get stuck into them.
