I might aswell ask - Can me and judy take this trade to the league and see how the voting goes/if it gets passed?
If not, yet again i'd understand but there's not much to lose on just seeing the leagues stance on it.

To be honest, if you really dont see a problem with that trade, you might not be the best equipped to be league GM.

NOTICE

The draft is completed, and waiver period has begun.

HOWEVER.....

Two players are not listed on ESPN that were drafted.

Woodson selected Chris Taylor RB Hou, but he doesn't exist on the system.

Manureid selected Michael Lewis S SF, but he doesn't exist on the system.

So no one is allowed to claim them or sign them IF/WHEN they show up. When they do I as LM will move them into the rosters for Woodson and Manureid.

If anyone spots any other errors on their roster that I may have missed please PM me asap and I will fix it.

I will also need confirmation whether we're going ahead with the 6 LB maximum or leaving it till next season.
Personally, I'm ok with either, and it's just up to you all to say so.

As Southern mentioned, can we trade next years draft picks yet? Or is that something we're doing after the draft?
Surely we just vote on the trade and see if it goes through or not instead of arguing about it for 3 pages. Also, I'd hate for us to set a precedent of vetoing half the trades that come through our league just because they seem lopsided.
However, I'm surprised you're willing to give up that many picks for him, sleepy, but it's your choice.

Dont trade future picks yet till after the draft and the rosters are set, because THEN the system will recognize it.
Imo, just draft, when it's your turn, pick the guy you want or the top-rated if you're not sure, and dont worry about making fancy trades just yet.
Leave it till later in the draft, people trading a couple of places in THIS YEARS draft, an upcoming round, or just wait till end of the draft and start making trades to each other in the ESPN system.

Yes it matters.
If you choose Vinny Testarvede first and Morten Anderson second. What happens is if Vinny is taken by someone else then it goes down to your second choice. If he's taken, down to your third.
So even if you put down 6 waivers to do, hypothetically, you might only get 1 or 2 or 3 of them.

But CHOOSING them doesnt matter, because you can re-order the list of waivers you have.
Just click on the thing that shows the list of waivers you've compiled so far, and you can click UP/DOWN on them to re-order them.

Basically, pick players however you want, it doesnt matter. It's just the order you set them, so RE-ORDER them as explained ^

But say 5 people had x player, and I was one of them and the highest, and he is my no 1, obviously I nab him with my no 2 Waiver order?

Every time a waiver is processed tho, you move to the end of the queue.

So, I for instance, could decide NOT to pick any players for waivers, and everyone else could. What happens is I'd end up on the top of the waivers after everyone else made a pick, and i might want to do that so I was first cab on the rank for later. Tactical. And instead of using my waivers right now, could wait till all this week's waivers are done, then just pick up FAs for free that dont cost me my waiver spot.

If ScottyD doesnt make a pick by 3am he gets jay cutler.
Marklar's time limit of 10 hrs wont start until either the 3am deadline gets processed for ScottyD, or whenever ScottyD makes his pick.

If ScottyD logged in right now and picked someone, then Marklar would be given 10 hrs from the time of ScottyD's pick. So it's 7pm now, so it would be 5am.....IF.....scottyD logged in now and made a pick.

I work night shift from 12am to 12pm at Australia Post so how the HELL was i supposed to make my pick to make things even worse u selected a shit player for me. chnage it to Phillip Rivers or ELSE

If you wanna be pushy and threaten to leave that's your choice.
It's not gonna coerce anyone to let you have Rivers after the deadline.
You know the rules, find a way to get your picks in if you cant log in.
If we waited for you to take your sweet time to make your pick, it'd be october.

I see no problem, if you miss your deadline you can change the player, so long as that player wasn't picked after you. Needs to be an appropriate deadline though, maybe 6 hours if you miss your pick.

What if I pick 2 players...if not drafted by me, then I'll still have FA's to go that won't cost me a waiver spot? Is that double clever?

Ok iv been at work and havnt said my peace just yet.

Point 1. Sleepy obviously want one guy and i really want another. The trade ends up with both of us ending up with the guys we want.

Point 2. Believe it or not but the trade lasted over at least 10 PM's from both sides. Alot of thought and energy was invested in the trade with both sides coming up happy.

Point 3. If the rest of the league is unhappy with the trade than i will agree to a cancellation/re-gig of the trade. After-all you can land the best team in the world but if your comp isnt happy with it and eventually loses interest, than their is no point to it is there.
