So I'm potting them by me saying HS must be disappointed with there year, and that them being the danger team in 17 is a bold prediction has sent you on the above rant, I'd suggest you get back on your medication.Hey Billy I have a forced break and you get on here and start potting the Sharks in my absence. How you can sit back and make stupid comments is beyound me, other than your jealous of them in some way. Yes Tulla are playing in finals "again" and that's a great effort I agree. But where are they heading? IF they were to win it and go up to premier, that would spell the end of Tulla. They would fold after a year in premier or try and stay down in div1 in 2017 which the league wouldn't allow to happen.
Back onto the Sharks and Obviously the club needs to have a plan for when they are ready to have a crack at winning promotion to premier. Can't be easy to operate a club with so many junior teams, but you wouldn't know that would you!
Sharks budget would be pretty low and much lower than the top 4 sides and Glenroy. They are probably a bit similar to when Greenvale came into the comp but they don't have a big money sponsor (or two) as what Greenvale was able to get, and of course the facilities at Greenvale were always going to be good in that area.
Give them a bit more time and when div1 spending comes back into line somewhat with other teams they will be a force, mostly on the back of there good junior program as there 18s are on top and there 16s just played off in the div1 GF competing with the "big" EDFL powerhouse clubs.
Also they seem to a attract a large supporter base which is another positive, but again it's partly to do with the junior numbers and the willingness to engage them into the club.
Yes Billy the Sharks do have the benefit of a large area with new families but it does take hard work. I don't want to see any club struggle, but ultimately you can't drop the ball (even for a short time) in these difficult times, as it's to hard to pick up and go again. A club like Glenroy is a good example of a traditional club that is still doing well in a tough area with other clubs close by. But they seem to find juniors every year and appear to be doing well in some divisions. I guess it's partly due to some older heads still working hard and if the new generation are coming through the club will continue to prosper. Tulla have great history (I remember the days of the great man Dean Hartigan) but just can't seem to build a junior program.
If I was u I would get a new postman because most of your mail is wrong and this time again your mail is wrongMy mail tells me Cloke boys heading to NFL club Hurstbridge next season to play with some mates.

Id be surprised if either of the clokes were talking about next year at the minute. Both would have no problems find well paid homes elsewhere so im backing they'd be thinking about what we all should be, the upcoming finals series
I've heard something a bit different... Another edfl club
Find out in about a month I suppose
if crazyburn win the gf and go it would be a big loss to lose the cloke boys they would be hard to replace the would have kick well over 100 goals between them this year that is hard to replace in any side especially when you go to premier division
Im sure any side would rather play the clokes, robertson, fletcher young etc in the wet rather than the dry so id say it favours Tulla. Wont be a weekend for marking forwards which the backmen will enjoy. I still think CB by 30.Ill take tulla by 15,if it keeps raining I'm not sure who it will suit better
OP by 10
Not post related but I think the saints club rooms need more Fawkner amo / Moomba park / Fawkner park memorabilia on display
As a 1year old I was at the club watching uncles okay for the Amos and I myself played at Moomba/Fawkner park/Northern Saints in the 90's and 2000's juniors all the way to seniors so you would know all of my family![]()
I fully agree. We just need you to put it on the agenda at the annual meeting.I think the Club should have been called Fawkner Saints, a true combination of Fawkner Park and North Coburg Saints rather than Northern Saints.
Why not give that option to the members to vote on?
Squads only can only play 22 both sides have named 25-26 playersI see Westmeadows have named Mullins, even though he walked out on the club 3 weeks ago. Are they desperate on Sunday
Edict from the EDFL that for the finals, all competing teams must name at least a squad of up to 25 by midday Friday. Does not have to be the final team, just a squad. Can see some mind games being played.Squads only can only play 22 both sides have named 25-26 players
What happened? I had to leave before the end of the game.Tullamarine Submarines = Disgrace
Will be interesting to see what action the edfl will take after there performance today
All for friendly banter but the constant C bombs coming from the crowd today and drunken behavior was disgraceful. To lean over the fence at the end of the game and carry on after your team gets smashed just doesn't sit well with me. Felt sorry for the tullamarine players I'm sure they were embarrassed not only on the field but off the field todayP

Craigieburn made a big statement to those who doubted them!!

I'm just sitting here waiting for someone to say tulla had X amount of players out that's why they lost. They were quite chirpy after beating Craigieburn last time around. I think we just made a statement that we are a difficult team to beat at full strength
Agree language wasn't acceptable, but don't get carried away it was nipped in the bud pretty quickly,we should ban 18- 30 year old blokes from associating together in public and getting on the drinkAll for friendly banter but the constant C bombs coming from the crowd today and drunken behavior was disgraceful.
