Bakoulas is no great pick up at the momment. His arm is stuffed. broke it badly this year and after 10 weeks on the side lines came back wearing a massive guard. He cant kick with it on and cant mark. He is a good player but he still needs several operations on the arm to remove pins and fix it completely.
Bicer and Bakoulas are best mates, they are a package deal. have been at coburg, pascoe vale, greenvale and now maybe heidleburg togethor. A fit bakoulas would demand about 500 per game and bicer about 700. However bakoulas is not fit so i wonder if heidelburg will be willing to spend 1200 on both of them considering only one of them will be good.
Also DVFL is not the place for Bakoulas as he always ducks his head, if you know what i mean.
Underpaying both of them at those rates! When he first went to Greenvale, Bicer hawked himself for $15k per season, Greenvale only one rich or silly enough to pay that amount. Interviewed both a few seasons back and asking price was above your quoted figures.Aussie_dude said:

If it is true, and Bloomfield on the move as well, only one of the 3 Greenvale EDFL B&F equal runners up left, John Tate. He also has opened discussions with another EDFL club.
What a bunch of ordinary blokes running around putting a price on their head as if they are as good as Wayne Carey. Who would want those sort of idiots ripping the heart out of their club, whilst paying them at the same time.

the arrivals at airport west are of many, marcus pappa, michael martyn, marcus barkley, marco costello, ben verrel, charlie pardo, rocky senies ( not sure if thats correct spelling ) steve collier, among many others who will be good enough to play seinors. And also a bloke from tassie who appartanly can play and came second in the time trial that was held last night at the first pre season training session where there was 60 blokes who turned up and 52 ran! hopefully in for a big season in all grades
nth coburg apperently had a massive cleanout one year where heaps of players were kicked out as they were causing trouble. them and maribyrnong (sp) are struggling clubs.
moonee valleys been relegated after only winning 1 game or something. they are going really well in juniors but shocking in seniors coz theres no numbers. also if anymore clubs join the edfl its gonna be stuffed.

because all edfl sides are linked to an afl club and if it wasnt for afl clubs helping out edfl clubs the clubs in the edfl wouldnt be around. So ur answer to us wearing fremantle colours is because we are linked to them because the club felt like a change of name and a change of jumpers and also got to do with sponsorship.

May I just say that this is not true - not all AFL clubs are affiliated with AFL clubs, and even though it was mooted that Fremantle were going to come on board as a potential financial sponsor of NCS, it never eventuated. The club is actually discussing reverting back to it's old jumper design, that being a bottle green jumper with a red yolk....not the most attractive but distinctive and original at least, and better than the Freo kit.
Also, in regards to this supposed clean out, I think you are talking poo and no clean out happened at all - it is a true figment of your imagination. The club had won 4 games in 5 years (1999-2003) and then a host of players returned in 2004. This has resulted in the club posting 5 wins in 2004 and 6.5 wins in 2005, marking a large improvement on past efforts.

One of the main reasons was sponsorship. Apparently, they found it difficult to get sponsors because they didn't have a suburb in their club name and some sponsors could relate to a club with a supposed location.

Saw the West Coburg boys training down at Aberfeldie Park last night. Rabee Houchaor won the 4.3km time trial in a tick over 16. Alot of their old players are back..Rabee, Flavel were pounding the ashpalt while a few boys ran laps of the 1km dirt track.
Douttas and Tullamarine were also there doing time trials...

North Coburg changed their name because the EDFL enforced a rule which made every club have a place as their name. Notice that St.Chritophers and St.Francis don't appear any longer.
As for the jumpers, I believe money was supposed to change hands, but never did. The original jumper should be re-introduced - who wants to be wearing freo's jumper?

Torro Excrement. If you don't understand that, bulls**t. Clubs are not linked to AFL teams, and are certainly not supported by AFL clubs with one exception, Roxborough Park. Collingwood have been providing a modicum of support. As a former club administrator in the EDFL, I can give you a 100% guarantee that with the one exception, above, it just does not happen. Now, if you getting confused with draft payments, that is a different issue. All non AFL clubs, throughtout Australia get a payment from the AFL if a player is drafted from their club. First payment is when they are drafted, next when they play their first game, and then a few other milestone games generate payments. NCS would have got several payments for Paul Chapman. Up to about mid 1990's, the EJSFL ran the U10's and U12's. Think it was around 1996 or 97 that the EDFL decided to take over the running of all age levels and seniors, forced the EJSFL out of business. The EDFL board wanted St C's to merge with APW and St F's to merge with Oak Park or Hadfield. So when both Saint clubs applied for admission to the EDFL, it was put to a vote of all clubs, and the request was denied. Could not field teams beyond U12, did not comply with EDFL constitution. Doutta Galla is the district (Parish of Doutta Galla). When Strathmore was settled in the 1830's the land was under the Parish of Doutta Galla. So was a lot of the land the Essendon Airport is on (so was Kensington/Flemington). So the name Doutta (as much as I despise the club) has a strong history in the local area.

On the second point quite correct about the district. In fact Justin Maddin is the member for Doutta Galla in the upper house. But the point still remains we do not have a suburb or place called Doutta, Doutta Galla, or Doutta anything. No references in the Melways and does not have a postcode. So if the other poster was correct they should not be allowed to continue under the name of Doutta stars. Wouldn't that be great!!!!
