Also, Shaun 'SCORCHER' Triplett, the man who works with Pagan, will appear on the EDFL TV Show in 2006. Could I have feedback from others to what people think???
Also, he rekons GV is not as good as tige makes it out to be. Shane Clayton who isn't half as good as Paxman dominated.

Scorcher will be good on the panel for the EDFL comments however if he continues to make comments about clayton only being half the player of paxman then he will only make a fool of himself.

The standard of the GV speaks for itself and it does not need me or Tige pumping it up, people who play in it know what type of footy it is.

Below are just a few other names to ask what they think the standard of the league is like last year.

These blokes just scratch the surface of the players in the comp. There are a lot of very good locals that people in melbourne would know nothing about:

The list could go on

All these blokes come to the league for one reason, it is good footy and clean footy. Lets leave it at that.

he has signed with west coburg.

little more info on him his 195cm or so very strong for an 18 year old.. good size and athletic body for footy. Only been playin footy for 2 season.. last season was at the Cannons, played first three games and then was a wasted season.

Played few games down at Jacana, but due to school/uni commitments couldn't play every week. Dominated in the game V West Coburg at Jacana when the Jags got up.

unfortunately we lost a very good promising player.. too bad that clubs are able to offer good dollars to players at struggling clubs which entices them to leave.. leaving the club even more in the ********ter...

but jacana still comes up ok on paper and the club is moving in the right direction and finally getting money into the club so hopefully it wont be too long until things get better for jacana

I have seen a hell of a lot of EDFL a grade and bloomfield is a han dy player, IMO the 2nd best ruckmen in the comp behind Farrerly at abbers. If Rhys gets fit he could be a more tha handy player at VFL but his fitness would need to improve a lot.

your an absolute dill, have not heard a bigger load of rubbish in my life,i'd play mo kaakour in the ruck before dave farrely, at least mo would have a crack, and thats saying something.
please refrain from saying more rubbish like this, as it will lose its valuable crowd and news we get on this site
and i would take bloomfield be4 nearly any player in the edfl, and i dont even like greenvale, thats how dominant in the edfl he is

Fair call, Farrely is very average and to play mo kakka in the ruck before him is saying something! Bloomfield can play, if he didnt get injured he would have won the comp medal easy.

Thats the good thing about this forum is we can all shar our own opinions, I have seen every ruckmen in the EDFL A grade from a totally non biased pint of view, and Dave probably rates just behind Kempy for his tap work but is much better around the ground has a very good leap and is a strong mark and good acurate kick for goal. Its my opions and I am happy for you to disagree with it.

yeah thinks thats right, but 100 bucks a game is better then nuthin. So jacana can't compete.

Hey Matty, when is the EDFL footy show back on and one other thing you need to be more relaxed on the show and not try to hard, apart from that I love the show and think you have done a great job in creating it.

Not far off the mark in B Grade,but let's get onto A Grade. What chance Craigieburn to do an Avondale Heights and be a real threat in the top division. By the way if any player over 6foot 4 is heading up the Hume highway towards Sydney leave a half hour early and drop into Aitken reserve for a chat!

did craigieburn need 5-6 to be really competitive ?,they surely cant going rely on their kids to mix it in agrade no matter how good in juniors , could it be a repeat of tulla 2004, do you think it may be more likely they are fighting off relegation?

interesting question 4 all, with strathmore being all the talk re; a massive influx of players. Im wandering, how many players that have played 50+ senior game for there will play regular seniors this yr ? and matty what abt the same q at marby

also late news to hand , can anyne confirm , i heard there were serious punches thrown at douttas training recently with 2 big name recruits standing toe to toe during a drill.,, ?

Matthew, whats the chance of you speaking with the powers at the league to have them revamp their web-site. Would be great to see a transfer list so everyone can view player movements. Most other leagues do, so whats with all the secrecy ???

I'll answer that for you. The site is being revamped, not before time either. Current site is well........ drab!
Transfer list on line. Board of EDFL, in their typical manner, showing they are still a generation behind, decreed that it will not be done. Can be done easily, but they refuse. Thought those days were gone with Reg Rose & Neil Wood.

Yeah very true bill schwibbet, clubs like Jacana cant compete with teams that are paying every player, its a really ashame because they(Jacana) tested the alot of the good sides last year with wins over W.C and come close to beating craigieburn etc.
