At a club like Hadfield...$22,000 would cover the majority of their team!
No joke

The G Ghost said:Just thought I'd stop a bit of rot. Kade will be at Doutta Stars in 2007, he would love to have a run around with the King, and depending on scheduling it may be possible, let me repeat that 'it may be possible'. Ramma, D'oraz, Jimmy Hollow, Joey Laverde, etc etc etc............ do I need to keep going, are all committed to DS for 2007, and Douttas are every chance to keep them all. Let's not kid ourselves, some of them will find out what they may be worth on the market, but they will love nothing more than staying together and go one step further. They have no reason to look elsewhere, as they will want to achieve what attracted them to the Stars in the first place - Success with mates. As we witnessed during the finals series, it was Strathmore 1st - the rest a long way off them. I will only offer my opinion on Doutta. They need a couple of stronger-built bodies for the Midfield and Backline, need to get Kade, and the forgotten man Sammy Tankard some help up Forward. Except for Paul Doc's, Elsum and Simon, (sorry fellas) they are a pretty young outfit of 18-23yo's.
Pick me up a bucket on the way through thanks. No coleslaw too healthy, doesn't sit well with the CrowniesRIGHT ON said:Well said G GHOST,back to KFC for me .![]()
Gee fair question Aussie, we lacked what Greenvale has - body strength, and we had what I think they lacked a little - leg speed. Still a huge job to get over the Mores, but I'm sure both clubs will recruit wisely to have a crack at them. Any thoughts on where you think Greenvale and Douttas need to improve Oz, without a huge cash outlay?Aussie_dude said:i have the names and numbers but am struggling for the cash atm. so if you give me the cash ill give you the players.
also do you reakon that if GV and DS combined their sides they would beat SM? would be a good game.
Saul Caddy and Kane Cooper will never play divvy 2 footy in any league.wizza14 said:Pretty comprehensive wrap up there Warwick. Also, Kane Cooper (Port Colts) rumoured to follow Caddy to Marby.
The G Ghost said:Nemo, Nemo, Nemo, get back in the Fish-tank knackers. He will stay at DS, be Captain of DS and may even be playing-assistant at DS. He has mentioned that he would like to enter the Coaching fray, and is keen for whoever Coaches the Stars to have him as a playing-assistant. You never allow loyal Club people to wander away, especially one of DS's finest.

Hasn't had any Senior Coaching experience other than at his beloved Keilor Park Cricket Club.
Would be interesting if it proves to be the case, but highly doubtful. GO DEVILS
