So he should be as his getting plenty of $$. Keilor win GF on the back of some smart recruiting but it cost them plenty of $$.
Abers selection will come under fire I think. They will need to find some key forwards next season. Did they miss a player like Houli (from last season), as he would have played on Galea I assume.

Everyone rode Keilor off towards the end of the home and away season, most tipping straight sets and they come out and beat one of the best teams in metro footy 3 times in a month to claim the flag, unbelievable effort and very deserving premiers! mighty mick retains his title GO BLUES
Give it up turbo, what a year, what a team. Galea is a star.

As will Pacco with the departures of Warren and Pollizi next year, forwards could be at a premium!
Abers had Potter coaching, never a chance. He is as useless as Kefferd... Ha ha ha
I'll tell you why Potter is useless, he doesn't have the ability to motivate players to play above themselves.
2 ton Mick won the flag purely for that reason.

I'll dip my lid. Keilor I don't really like you much but what a performance. I mean they were the underdogs in round 18 and the first final and still including myself had them as underdogs in the Grand final. That was a special performance led by one of the best local coaches around. Recruited smartly developed young players over a number of years and here we stand acknowledging the Keilor footy club on what was an outstanding 2016 campaign. Congratulations.

Oldfatandslow, maybe you need to get your facts right champ. We all know Warren is heading back to QLD, as that's no secret, but Polizzi is definitely staying so that's wrong information. Polizzi is a ripper kid and very loyal.
Maybe they recruited his younger brother for his own football ability ! Anyway today is all about Keilor , well done !

Let me guess Jake is purely playing for the love of the jumper, nothing to do with the $$$$. Offer him a paycut and i am sure your loyalty response will change pretty quickly just like the majority of your list.

Oldfatandslow , is that in relation to your mental capacity , players that earn a quid from putting their bodies on the line week in , week out deserve every cent they get if they they play to a high standard . Obviously during your own career that never happened so your obviously envious !
I know you are dirty on Keilor winning Turbo and you keep referring to $ . Well the facts are Dean Galea took a $9000 pay cut to move from AH to Keilor . You will probably refute this but taking the coach out they are paying a lot less than many believe or want to believe. I'm reasonably confident your club would be paying somewhere in Keilors vicinity, and a heap less than Abers , Strathmore , greenvale. Also you refer El Houli , why I have no idea as Ryan Allan has been lauded on this forum as some sort of defending superstar. I'm sure today's 1st Quarter will put that to rest.

Loyalty was never brought up by me if you want to look back through previous posts. All i post was that i highly doubt he will be with Pacco for much longer. No apology needed as i will bag him and have a laugh with him as i do every time i bump into him.

You should really get your facts straight. He has resigned for 2017 and will be fighting fit after sustaining am injury and having to sit out 1st final. Go Pacco 2017
