What is the best tactic for black to combat the Ruy Lopez aka the Spanish in chess? Marshall attack - sacrificing a pawn for position to force weakness to the white's kingside, or Morphy defence - forcing white to make a decision as to whether they want to sacrifice a bishop for a knight and swap material?

Now, correlate that to our gameplan - what is the best tactic for the opposition to combat our gameplan? Sacrifice a defender/midfielder to force weakness in our defence by adding another forward to their attack, or dropping another player into our forward line to draw that +1 out and 'swap material'?

Mentioned it on the board the other day, like to know if you think it would work.
Jacko to take hoffs role as the flota /ruck, Todd/eddy to come in as the forward ?

What is most likely to occur in the game against Essendon?

a) commentators barracking for Essendon to win if we're any more than 1 point north of their score
b) Dixon or Robbie manhandled and scragged and overlooked for multiple free kicks
c) Impey using the slice 9 iron and kicking more behinds than goals
d) One of Dixon, Robbie or Ryder booed by the home crowd
e) All of the above
