Its an interesting dilemma with the rucks this week - Vigo, Blaki, 2MP & Goldy are all ~200cm and around ~100kg. Witts is 210cm & 110kg - so he will probably monster all of them - our mids just need to be aware of this
There are pros and cons with bringing Goldy back in - personally I think 2MP is experienced enough to be our main ruck with Vigo as backup. McMahon with 5 goals in the reserves deserves a shot & comes in for Blaki

Goldy can come back the following week and be cherry ripe against the Tigers, Ridley & Langford can play a half in the reserves

There is noway I am going in against Witts with 2MP as the number 1 ruckman. Vigo has way more energy, mongrel, urgency, and nous in the ruck (pump the minutes into Vigo while we can).

I think with the length of the latest injuries (4-6 weeks for most) I am hoping we have already been super cautious.

Agree, lets play Davey & Tsatas for a few games and see what we have. No point not playing them when we already know how limited the likes of Gresham are.

Im one of his biggest critics, but I think you also need to reward decent form in the VFL.

Even if it’s a message to him ‘I don’t care if you have a bad game, but I want to see you make 8 tackles today’ show us what you got.

Weird feeling about the next couple of games. Theres zero hope from the fans but I imagine the players will be asking themselves what’s possible now the teams back together? Snag a win, find some form, who knows? Langford is the barometer for me. If he gets up and about then the dynamic changes. Unlikely to happen soon enough to matter. My guess is we blitz the last few games of the season

How many of the returning players will come straight in? Surely Langford for one, comes back via ressy’s. He was hardly setting the world on fire before his injury, and I think he’ll need game time in the twos first. Same could apply to all returning players.
