The DLC is pretty much a mission that you can take part in just like any other optional quest throughout the game. It doesnt change the ending of the game as such. In fact I had to abort the final mission as this was the only save I had. Still havent played DLC yet, too BLOODY HOT!!!!!

Recently got back into this, seriously a gem of a game, it's like a polished version of Oblivion.

In about 7 hours on my new file, I havent done a lot, only a few Moira quests, the beginning of Blood Ties and a lot of dungeon plundering!

I've done about 66hrs and haven't even finished the main quest.
Done alot of side missions (and some main quests), but I travel alot, finding new places on the map. (Got the geo-mapper also,so you get bottle caps when you find new places). I also take heaps of stuff from bodies or places, then fast travel to Megaton or Rivet City to barter...

You didn't blow up Megaton?

Did in the second tho. Both options have their pro's and cons

What i did before blowing up megaton was kill that shop girl and the doctor and raid all their stuff. It works a treat

I killed everyone in every town apart from the unkillables.

Worked a treat, stores especially.

I did, you can use any of the rooms in there as long as you have the Ghoul Mask. Pretty sweet little get up.

Yes, she does - you still have to do her quests to find food & such. You can kill her though, for more bad karma

So very addicted to this game right now. I'm not as far in as many of you but I'm loving it.

Here's a question, is the game "easier" with bad karma? ie, if you go around and kill pretty much everyone you obviously will be gaining more xp and can level up faster. Or is this counteracted by lack of quests opening up?

Please bear in mind that I haven't finished the game, so generalised answers would really be appreciated.

If you have good karma people give you stuff for helping them. So not really. You get the extra xp from doing their quests rather than killing them as well

These Regulator job sucks. All I get is 10 caps for each finger.

You tend to rack them up tho just playing the game mate.

Just wait till you have 10-15 then quicktravel there. Easy caps.

This game is addictive in the weirdest way. You could be preparing to get off the xbox saying "I'll just finish this part first." 3-4 hours later, you're still saying "I'll just finish this bit!"

10 more minutes always turns into a couple of hours, before you know it its 3 am and I have work in 5 hours.
