Always send companions to the same place to avoid losing them. Sanctuary the obvious choice

You get to choose where you send them away but stuffed if I can remember where... Need her for a side quest now
Ive only changed companions once to piss that mutt off... you get to choose when you change right? I don't know how to outside of that
Once you've got a few you can tell them to wait at settlements. You can swap whenever
nice... can you choose not to have any companion with you? I sick sick of telling mind to "Wait Here/Try not to get in the way" as im trying to snipe haha
Was gonna say it's awesome on the iPad. So seamless to being able to change weapons and use stimpaks through it.Put it on a tablet if you've got one. Much better experience. Plus the battery in my iPad seems to last 10x as long as my phone.
Yep that's how I did it too although glowing ghouls are harder to shoot their legs off.Obvious to Fallout veterans, but for noobs, when you come across feral ghouls, just pop those suckers in the legs until you blow one off.
They are half rotten so the legs are easy pickings. They can't run at you anymore, just lay on the ground acting pissed off.
Finish with machete to the head Rick Grimes style or have dogmeat rip their throats out.
Just cleaned out Lexington that way

is it worthwhile building up a town with defenses, crops, structures, power etc? Im just leaving my power armours and junk items unguarded and so far nothings happened
1 hour is nowhere near long enough to get a feel for the game. If you dont want to search the houses in sanctuary for items and safes, walk southeast and find Corcord - that will keep you busy fighting shit.Thought I'd buy the game to see what the fuss is about. Got insanely bored within an hour into it and turned it off... Guess its not for everyone...![]()
If you sleep for 24 hours, they should pop up to your side I thinkThought I had been... Ah well

its a 300 hour game. Needless to say if you think you're going to be blowing away people COD style in the first 5 min you might be disappointed.Thought I'd buy the game to see what the fuss is about. Got insanely bored within an hour into it and turned it off... Guess its not for everyone...![]()
If nothing else, having a settlement all set up gives you an infinite supply of food, purified water (if you set up a purifier, almost as good as stimpaks) and junk.is it worthwhile building up a town with defenses, crops, structures, power etc?
